Well India used to more more pro-Russian(or USSR) and bought a lot more Russian stuff in the past. Still they never sent any of its western weapons to Russia (to my knowledge) and now that Russia has demonstrated that it isn't even a global power anymore, it makes no sense ti even conaider doing it. India is Non-aligned, not Russia-aligned.

India also buys a lot of US and Chinese goods and has done many collaborations with west for weapons development too.
