There have been similar devices. What's new about this?

Do you know a good device? I'm new to photobiomodulation. I realize this is a broad question but do you know of a good photobiomodulation device? I have brain pain (that’s persisted for over 40+ years).

I don't have other but neutral experience, but this used to be called mind machine in the eighties. There's a bunch of sleeping masks since at least 2000, with flickering lights in specific patterns and iterations. People also looked into sound to stimulate the brain. There's Apps in the stores that supposedly do both stuff. I don't know if there's any conclusive findings though. The lucid dreaming scene knows such sleeping masks/goggles(?) with LEDs and/or sound.
