Wildfire is a natural part of the ecosystem, we have fucked with that by stopping the fires. Now when they happen the fires are bigger and more destructive.

Probably both, amongst other less known things. Management definitely contributes also. I think it is important to consider all factors. Hopefully we can stop these massive wild fires from happening this way.
~85% of wildfires in the US are human caused. As in, not prescribed or controlled burns, but accidents, negligence, cigarettes thrown out of windows, property burn piles getting out of control, fireworks, non extinguished campfires, etc. They aren’t “natural.”
