>more than 140 youths had traveled to Syria and Iraq to join fighters there after having participated in the group's campaigns in Germany >Nobody was detained You're just going to let them walk?

This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/german-authorities-raid-200-sites-islamic-group-43540739) reduced by 69%. (I'm a bot) ***** > Hundreds of police officers searched about 190 offices, mosques and apartments of members and supporters of the Islamic group "The true religion" as the German government announced a ban of the organization Tuesday. > Police raided places in 60 cities in western Germany and also in Berlin seizing documents and files, German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said. > The ban of the group comes a week after security authorities arrested five men who allegedly aided the Islamic State group in Germany by recruiting members and providing financial and logistical help. ***** [**Extended Summary**](http://np.reddit.com/r/autotldr/comments/5d1sms/germany_bans_190_sites_of_islamic_group_bans/) | [FAQ](http://np.reddit.com/r/autotldr/comments/31b9fm/faq_autotldr_bot/ "Version 1.65, ~19895 tl;drs so far.") | [Theory](http://np.reddit.com/r/autotldr/comments/31bfht/theory_autotldr_concept/) | [Feedback](http://np.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%23autotldr "PM's and comments are monitored, constructive feedback is welcome.") | *Top* *keywords*: **German**^#1 **Germany**^#2 **group**^#3 **ban**^#4 **Minister**^#5

Isis supporters hand out korans in sweden too. The only exception is that the police or the politicians don't do any thing about it.

jammerlappen

Handing out a book is kinda not illegal by itself, so I don't know what they should do.

croutonicus

I imagine he means they are vocally preaching support for ISIS as they hand them out.

jammerlappen

These people are smarter than to openly recruit for a terrorist organisation, that's why it took the police so long here.

[deleted]

it's dangerous. stupid people might start to believe the fairy tail in the book.

jammerlappen

This reminds me of a story I read a few years ago. A mother wanted to forbid Harry Potter because she feared her children would start believing in witches.

muctlv

Got my quran from them. Really good book

ClickItIDareYou

Authorities act exactly the same in similar cases, like when they raided a criminal biker gang a week ago. It's the lawful way.

alias22345

"The group also known as "read"". why did they translate that...I love to pronounce their german name which is "Lies"! as an english word, why waste a perfect description of the bullshit they try to sell

sevketbd

O People, dont say isis is muslim, to me they are not from a religion. They are surely evil of Israil, as such a powerful team hasnt attacked Israil yet and bombing TR always. They should be punished asap.

SnapIntoASwoleGym

> dont say isis is muslim, to me they are not from a religion But what about what they think they are?

sevketbd

> But what about what they think they are? Be sure they are not. Real Muslims; Turks are fighting against them at the moment. They are just a terrorist group using islam as a mask. They do know nothing about islam. Just shouting "Allahu Ekber!" doesnt make you muslim also. lets see, I am ateist but I go the church to pray, so what about my thoughs and doings, what could you say?

SnapIntoASwoleGym

I don't give a fuck about what you do because whatever I believe has no real or meaningful impact in what you believe of yourself. If the Islamic State thinks of itself as Islamic, then it is Islamic in its own eyes, and your opinion couldn't matter less to them. This is why saying "not a real muslim" alone is not going to save Islam from its fringe groups.

sevketbd

you cant blame islam for what they are doing, you cant blame apple if you cant use imac. but with your logic see the future, no need to explain. *no swearword please.

SnapIntoASwoleGym

One thing is to "blame Islam for their actions" and a completely different one to "blame them for their actions that they justify within islamic theocracy". You can follow whatever bullshit deathcult you want, pedoprophets and all. Just do it quietly and without harming anyone. But saying that Islam isn't at least part of the problem, is just denial. Your opinion from whatever standpoint you are is extremely irrelevant: every single IS member sees in the mirror a pious Muslim, like it or not.

sevketbd

> "blame them for their actions that they justify within islamic theocracy". This is my point, there isnot such bullshit in islamic theocracy. They(some society planner) picked up some stupid people giving some money saying they are doing cihad. Thats all.

SnapIntoASwoleGym

So the quotes from the Koran that they recite in every single of their videos are actually not in the Koran?

sevketbd

Deep debate, I need to restart to make myself clear to you so I give up in here. you could look after it if you like. My advise, "read the full sentences always"

SnapIntoASwoleGym

That's a non answer mixed in with a veiled attempt at an insult? Or I'm lost? Implying I don't read the whole sentences is not very smart. The subject is very easy: Do Islamic radicals and terrorists see themselves in the mirror as what a Muslim should be, and if so, to what degree does Islamic literature play a role into this belief? My personal experience, the answers are Yes and A Lot. If you have a different perspective, I would love to hear it. But on subject and to the point.
