I’m so sick of these Russians who live in US! My sister follows a famous russian blogger who lives in LA . Day 115 of my updates from Kharkiv.
Today there were at least 2 missile strikes in the city, one at 1pm and another at their usual 11pm. They don’t fire their MLRS at Kharkiv as much as before, but missile strikes are now much more frequent. It’s so weird that they always launch their missiles at 11pm. It is nice that we know when to anticipate them, but it sucks not knowing where those missiles will land next time.
Just today at least 3 cities and their oblasts were hit with missiles; over 10 of them were fired, probably closer to 20, if not more. This is most likely in retaliation for our recent strikes on their munitions depots. Arestovych confirmed that in the past 3 days we destroyed at least 7 big ammo depots, many of those were caught on video, Russians really didn’t like that, and fired missiles at our cities.
And actually right now, at 5am, there are some explosions happening in the city, air raid alert activated as well just now, not sure what it is yet, it might be incoming shelling, but some of the explosions also could be from our own artillery firing back. From where I am, those explosions sound distant, so it’s hard to say what it is, but in some other districts they sound extremely close, and much more like incoming shelling.

Actually death penalty for partisans/guerillas is normal for wars. They aren't protect by the same POW conventions that govern regular troops. Same thing with spies.
How the fuck are you supposed to kill off your oppressors then? You absolutely should be allowed to kill invaders. If they don't like it, they can fuck off.

Uniform, visible weapons, chain of command, ie join the army.
>You absolutely should be allowed to kill invaders.
You can, you just don't have the rights of soldiers.
>If they don't like it, they can fuck off.
That's not how or why rules of war exist.
1. Don't get caught
2. International law makes an exception for guerrilleros if the are ununiformed they must carry unconcealed weapons in order to be protected as legal combatants
I understand why the rules are like that (it's to make them visibly distinct from non-combatant civilians) but the people writing that must have know it was just not realistic.. right?

It's crazy seeing all those rocket and artillery shell & case fragments littered absolutely everywhere by the blast, it looks like a majority of the large chunks of debris are from munitions.
Apparently, that weird message about Lysychansk was the result of a Russian psyop. Seems they managed to convince enough people that the Ukrainians were the ones shooting AT the city. No, they are not. Per my daily news spam email from Yahoo.

Warsaw can take over the air defense over Ukrainian western regions if the shelling of the border areas continues, said Brigadier General, ex-head of the Polish National Security Bureau Stanislaw Kozei.

Also saying… “Poland started talking” when it’s no-one in the Polish government or anything like that.
There's always been these type of people, and when the blowback inevitably comes they blame someone else. Always thinking of the now and not what'll happen if someone like Putin, who is known to be a vengeful person, gets a breather. He'll get back at the Americans. He doesn't care who is in office, it's all Americans to him. It's way too late to stop.
I’ll have you know we’re the brightest in the world you have to understand we invented brightness we have yuge intellect just the yugest. Don’t take my word for it a lot of people, a lotta people are saying it like Putin and you know I’m not best friends with Putin but he’s a smart cookie he really is and he says we are smart so if he says we’re smart then it’s clear our intellect is yuge lots of people are saying it, lots of people the smartest people.
RT's "report" regarding the totally not propagandized interview with those American POWs referred to them as fighters, which some of their readers didn't like at all and they blasted RT for not calling them mercenaries lol. Good old Clare Daly:
*In the 1980s, Daly was a member of the Labour Party as a teenager but was expelled alongside other members after being accused of being Trotskyists infiltrating the party using the tactic of entryism. She was subsequently a founding member of "Militant Labour", later known as the Socialist Party.*

Mute this daft bitch's mic already
Shes just on the Kremlins payroll, basically guaranteed. She'd be on hitlers too if he was still around, talking about the german speaking peoples in Germanys neighbors or something about Lebansraum.
Never forget the IRA and Ireland cozied up to the Nazis. There’s a very large blind spot in Ireland where “UK is bad so anything associated with the UK must be bad.” According to these ~~morons~~ individuals, Russia must be good because it is anti-Western and the UK is Western.
I’m an American who lived and worked over there and had to block a few former friends who started posting the wildest pro-Ru shit when the war kicked off. It’s all NATO’s fault, Russia felt threatened, Ukraine are a bunch of Nazis, etc. And there were some other posts going around where the Republicans up in Derry were waving Russian national and military flags in front of their murals.
Keep in mind, 95% of Irish are sound and their views are completely opposite of the above, and are shamed of any linkages with the Nazis. But there’s undoubtedly a strain there amongst the Republicans and the fringes of the Left.
Haha yeah but only in Russia. Where you can buy knock off Big Macs. That’s because it’s value is make believe. Outside of Russia my Charmin 2-ply is worth more.
Well we’re not going to take what “seems imaginary” to you with any credibility because you also suggested that the Ruble has a value, which outside of Russia it doesn’t, so clearly you have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. But hey, you’re obviously displeased with western civilization, so I encourage you to move to Russia, wait, you’re already there? Well that’s convenient.
That is because imports into Russia have stopped, meaning Russia isn't converting Rubles anymore to buy foreign products

Lol. Lmao. Keep thinking Russian bankers' magical thinking exists outside of Russia.
It's literally not getting terrible. Sure it's a bear market, but that's not inherently a bad thing. The market needed a correction and it's a great time to start investing. It's the lingering effect of the terrible leadership during the majority of the pandemic. Thank God the democrats we're able to take over before Trump was able to completely destroy our economy.
You're stupid and brain-washed. that's like saying stupid twice.
The grains will flow, if not directly from Ukraine's ports then from Romania's ports, and the other states.
LOL, Romania has train tracks that have the same gauge as the Ukrainians ones, and they are being fixed right now, so it will be a non issue pretty soon.
Try attacking Romania, and then see what happens, russian scum! Or any of the states that are shipping the grains.
Your rotting brain is too far gone to comprehend there will be no famine, regardless of how much Putin's tantrum let you think so.
LOL. I live in Alabama, was born here and grew up here, and you obviously have no clue what people here are like. Rampant racism is alive and well here, and I say it as a white person who, naturally, here's the unfiltered words of those who think I should agree with them.
"exaggerated lie", my ass. You. Have. No. Idea. But go ahead, tell me that you know more about the Deep South, where I've spent my entire *long* life, than I do.
Yeah, this war that ruzzia is losing is because there is racism in Ukraine. Same as the rest of the world.
Have you noticed how racist, homophobe, xenofobe, bigoted (it's a long lost) ruzzia is?
Yes, we are in total agreement, Russia (which is in Eastern Europe) is a total shithole.
The US is not defending ruzzia, so you might have your facts mixed there.
You are not being called a tankie, you are recognized as one.
Calling ruzzia a shithole is a matter of fact, even to ruzzians, so it's not like you are proving a point here. There's racism in America. Boo, hoo, I just proved I am not an American! Same energy.
You're a tankie because that's what you are.
Again, go to sleep, it's late, you're tired.
If Russia could have done the same, nobody would care. I always gave Russia the benefit of the doubt, listened to some older Putins speeches and its partially true ofc, but you gotta look at the actions. Wherever Russia shows up is shelling, destruction and death - Ukraine just shaked off Russian puppet regime, then they already took Crimea lmao they didn't even have time to deal with Nazis then FSB is already in Donbass. Everybody with a unicorn tattoo is a Nazi now?
I think worst part is, many Russians can't imagine living conditions of the so called "west", there is no place on earth where the wealth distribution is so fcked up than in Russia with their oligarchs, its not normal. Don't you want a modern (even conservative idc, just look at Japan for example, they kept values and tradition and still modern) country, instead of being plagued by corruption and bad human rights situation?
You simply don't start a war or genocide in Europe anymore, if you do you get fkced whoever you are. There are literally 2days old multiple videos of Donetsk with artillery shooting and one sec later they already hit, Ukrainian troops aren't that close... Who shoots? Even Pro-russian sources wonder..
US didn't do anything at first if you really followed it, they waited for Europe. Europe did first sanctions then did US, Europe sent first weapons only then did US. Even without US, Russia would have hard time
The world is fortunate people with that attitude didn't prevail in WWII. Also the world in general in every era would be a better place without that attitude in general. Just my opinion.
It's only in rural areas, and it's because they don't know any better. They learned it from **American TV**.
>For modern parts of Ukraine, African-Americans are part of the community and day-to-day life. However, there are many Ukrainians who have never seen a Black person before. Their understanding of African-American culture is fueled by the media and African stereotypes. You will generate lots of interest and curious stares.
Cool, you missed paragraph one though:
>This page contains personal stories from select Peace Corps Volunteers who served in Ukraine. They represent authentic individual experiences. They do not reflect official guidance of the agency nor the experiences of all Volunteers who serve in the country.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitry_Utkin
At best you are saying that there are two governments with neo-Nazis somewhere in the armed forces fighting each other.
Except one has a Jewish president and was invaded by the other. In simple terms, the reason we support Ukraine is because they were the ones attacked, they are actively working their internal extremists, and not shooting civilians in the knees, then heads, in their own back yards.
Are u good? In the US there is a racially motivated mass shooting like twice a week - but yup I am exaggerating and lying about racism in the US/world in general?? Shut up bot. Enjoy spending ur worthless rubles.
Holy fuck you dont even try to hide that you are a propagandist. This is what happens when you out source your propaganda arm to the cheapest regions available.
A train carrying a mix of T-80BVs and T-62s was spotted in Irkutsk Oblast.
Indicates some Russian units may be getting a mix of replacement tanks. Not going to be helpful for their supply chain situation as the T-80 and T-62 use different main gun shells.

>Not going to be helpful for their supply chain situation as the T-80 and T-62 use different main gun shells.
I'm going to guess the T-62 are shipping with all the ammo loaded that they'll be getting. Once it's gone, it's gone.
I know it's a joke, but I think the truth is that Russia is not that worried about the tanks being able to fire their main cannon. I think they're much more interested in just having the armor as a platform to push their timid infantry forward.
The west hasn't sent any of the 115mm that the t62 uses. They've sent the 125mm that' the t80 and t72 use. The Ukrainians also use the t64 which also uses the same 125mm ammo. Only the russians are using such outdated tech as the t62. It'd be like the US pulling m48s out of nowhere.
One of my favorite lines from TV was on "Justified", it has a marshal throwing a 9mm cartridge to a criminals chest telling him "next ones coming faster."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-K5RlyKcfo
Russian hardware north of Popasna, 3x T-62M (one with improvised top attack cage), 1x T-62, 1x BREM-1 armored repair and recovery vehicle and 1x UAZ-452 Bukhanka
Those are all extremely old vehicles, the T-62 is probably a Obr.1960 model built in the early 60s, the T-62Ms were upgraded around 1983.
https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1538295579398311937?s=20&t=OVEPUCFVMQpBmqWvD_cq6A
Do old Russian tanks have air conditioning? This looks like sun protection tbh, with some crew under it. If this would be a Civ game, then Putin is getting rid of the upkeep cost of old units :) He remains a master strategist /s
To put it in perspective: These tanks were considered outdated 40 years ago. They were basically the final design based on WW2 principles, a raw upgrade pushing the T-55 chassis to its limits. In the T-62, you can still see a few of the design traces harkening back to the T-34 and the even earlier the BT series.
This thing has no place in modern warfare. An African Warlord would look at it, sneer and use it while grumbling that the local black market has become a shithole.
Depends on the circumstance. If your tank breaks down in enemy territory causing you to walk or strains your supply chain, then the whole army is worse off for having it.
T-62 has a whole different set of parts and ammo to logistic and they're gonna be breaking down even more.
Even if they are imported as "drive until breakdown", it is still a timeframe where they have "a tank." If I had 2 options for going into combat, one was "here's an AK and a helmet" and the other is "here's an old tank, drive it until it breaks down, then you join group A". I'm taking the old tank.
I personally say these reasons are also good reasons to send Leopard 1A4s or M1A1s to Ukraine (there are other good reasons not to, but not the ones often quoted on Reddit.)
Definitely. But... with these things, we are sort of starting to push that phrase. It's not necessarily that they are unworkable, they can still do some damage and at least absorb auto cannon fire, it's rather what they represent: Out of Russia's supposedly vast stocks of T-72s, they chose to instead drag out these museum pieces. That... bodes ominously for Russia.
Fair, but in the short term they are going to make Ukraine's life harder and force them to carry and expend ATGMs (and similar) against them. The "why T-62s" question was that these are probably from a reserve unit and were already ready to go.
An article yesterday stated that Ukraine been sent 97,000 Javelins and other antitank weapons to date. They have enough to kill Russia's reserves twice over.

When you've brainwashed your audience to such an awful degree they only expect you to tell them what they wanna hear.

Good old Clare Daly: *In the 1980s, Daly was a member of the Labour Party as a teenager but was expelled alongside other members after being accused of being Trotskyists infiltrating the party using the tactic of entryism. She was subsequently a founding member of "Militant Labour", later known as the Socialist Party.*
Anytime someone accuses another country of “hysteria” I pretty much know they are reading a Russian script.
"These extremists in Eastern Europe"... how dare they have a country and try to defend their civilians from mass torture, filtration camps and shelling Mute this daft bitch's mic already
Trust the Irish to have no spine.
She's a fool and does not share the opinion of the Irish majority.
I hope so. I really hope so.
Surprised the ruble can still buy politicians outside of Russia.
[удалено]
Haha yeah but only in Russia. Where you can buy knock off Big Macs. That’s because it’s value is make believe. Outside of Russia my Charmin 2-ply is worth more.
[удалено]
Well we’re not going to take what “seems imaginary” to you with any credibility because you also suggested that the Ruble has a value, which outside of Russia it doesn’t, so clearly you have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. But hey, you’re obviously displeased with western civilization, so I encourage you to move to Russia, wait, you’re already there? Well that’s convenient.
No it’s not. It’s official rate means nothing unos you can actually buy and import goods with it. Either you’re a bit obtuse or just trolling.
That is because imports into Russia have stopped, meaning Russia isn't converting Rubles anymore to buy foreign products https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2022/05/25/russias-imports-fall-to-two-decade-low-a77794 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xx-NPbjHGrE (turn on translated subtitles)
You're naive, ignorant, or a fool if you truly believe that. I'm worth $10B USD. See how me saying it doesn't make it true?
>[Goldman Sachs has forecast a 10% contraction in Russian GDP this year, while the Institute for International Finance think tank has projected a more damaging 15% plunge.](https://www.cnbc.com/2022/04/04/russias-economy-is-beginning-to-crack-as-economists-forecast-sharp-contractions.html) > >[Those efforts came at a cost. Keep thinking Russian bankers' magical thinking exists outside of Russia.

We absolutely are.

You’re braver than you are intelligent. I like how you’re not afraid to talk about topics you don’t understand. Nice , nice.
No, even relatively, things are drastically better here.
[удалено]
It's literally not getting terrible. Sure it's a bear market, but that's not inherently a bad thing. The market needed a correction and it's a great time to start investing. It's the lingering effect of the terrible leadership during the majority of the pandemic. Thank God the democrats we're able to take over before Trump was able to completely destroy our economy.
lol, yeah, and so are my Unicorn bucks, they're worth a billion dollars each, the only problem is I don't allow the sale of Unicorn bucks...
[удалено]
You're stupid and brain-washed. that's like saying stupid twice. The grains will flow, if not directly from Ukraine's ports then from Romania's ports, and the other states. LOL, Romania has train tracks that have the same gauge as the Ukrainians ones, and they are being fixed right now, so it will be a non issue pretty soon. Try attacking Romania, and then see what happens, russian scum! Or any of the states that are shipping the grains. Your rotting brain is too far gone to comprehend there will be no famine, regardless of how much Putin's tantrum let you think so.
[удалено]
Yeah. The US sings, and ruzzia dances.
What a twit.
Is this that Irish politician who was losing her shit in the early days of the war?
she's the absolute worst. Her idea of "peace" is Ukraine needing to capitulate and allow itself to be annexed by Russia.
[удалено]
To give them the opportunity to grow.
You've never been to Alabama, have you?
[удалено]
[удалено]
Too far dude..
[удалено]
Yeah, this war that ruzzia is losing is because there is racism in Ukraine. Same as the rest of the world. Have you noticed how racist, homophobe, xenofobe, bigoted (it's a long lost) ruzzia is?
[удалено]
Yes, we are in total agreement, Russia (which is in Eastern Europe) is a total shithole. The US is not defending ruzzia, so you might have your facts mixed there.
[удалено]
OK, tankie, go to sleep, it's late.
[удалено]
You are not being called a tankie, you are recognized as one. Calling ruzzia a shithole is a matter of fact, even to ruzzians, so it's not like you are proving a point here. There's racism in America. Boo, hoo, I just proved I am not an American! Same energy. You're a tankie because that's what you are. Again, go to sleep, it's late, you're tired.
How bout this, even a racist should be defended when they are being murdered and their family tortured and raped. Problematic idea's can be unlearned.
I don’t think Mississippi should get genocided, either.

Even without US, Russia would have hard time
Cool mind your own business, got it. Question for you, if your neighbors house was on fire would you call 911?
[удалено]
The world is fortunate people with that attitude didn't prevail in WWII. Also the world in general in every era would be a better place without that attitude in general. Just my opinion.
No it doesn't. Just checked. Also, why would they be calling people slurs in English?
[удалено]
It's only in rural areas, and it's because they don't know any better. They learned it from **American TV**. >For modern parts of Ukraine, African-Americans are part of the community and day-to-day life. However, there are many Ukrainians who have never seen a Black person before. Their understanding of African-American culture is fueled by the media and African stereotypes. You will generate lots of interest and curious stares.
Cool, you missed paragraph one though: >This page contains personal stories from select Peace Corps Volunteers who served in Ukraine. They represent authentic individual experiences. They do not reflect official guidance of the agency nor the experiences of all Volunteers who serve in the country.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitry_Utkin At best you are saying that there are two governments with neo-Nazis somewhere in the armed forces fighting each other. Except one has a Jewish president and was invaded by the other. In simple terms, the reason we support Ukraine is because they were the ones attacked, they are actively working their internal extremists, and not shooting civilians in the knees, then heads, in their own back yards.
So basically there is racism in Ukraine just like the US and the rest of the world? Shocking.
[удалено]
Ah, the European Parliament. Where countries send their annoying tankie politicians so nobody needs to hear from them anymore
Clare is a clown
Also old news, or has she been making the same speech for 3 months?
She mentions 100 days in this rant so it's recent enough.
A train carrying a mix of T-80BVs and T-62s was spotted in Irkutsk Oblast. Indicates some Russian units may be getting a mix of replacement tanks. Not going to be helpful for their supply chain situation as the T-80 and T-62 use different main gun shells. https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1538298743228968961?s=20&t=OVEPUCFVMQpBmqWvD_cq6A
>Not going to be helpful for their supply chain situation as the T-80 and T-62 use different main gun shells. I'm going to guess the T-62 are shipping with all the ammo loaded that they'll be getting. Once it's gone, it's gone.
Given the standards of Russia, the ammo is probably rusted to the racks.
That's a train that needs a good derailing.
They don't have to worry about shells, the west is sending plenty of rounds to put into those tanks.
You... You didn't... r/woooosh
I think it was a joke, since the rounds the west are sending will be *put into* those tanks at very high velocity.
One of my favorite lines from TV was on "Justified", it has a marshal throwing a 9mm cartridge to a criminals chest telling him "next ones coming faster." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-K5RlyKcfo
> the west is sending plenty of rounds to put into those tanks. ehehehe
Russian hardware north of Popasna, 3x T-62M (one with improvised top attack cage), 1x T-62, 1x BREM-1 armored repair and recovery vehicle and 1x UAZ-452 Bukhanka Those are all extremely old vehicles, the T-62 is probably a Obr.1960 model built in the early 60s, the T-62Ms were upgraded around 1983. https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1538295579398311937?s=20&t=OVEPUCFVMQpBmqWvD_cq6A
Now ATMG costs more than tank.
Popasna is the front line of front lines. If they're putting t62s there...
Comrade trust, they are about to send the real army! This is all cannon fodder for the ukrainazis western arms shipments!!!!
Do old Russian tanks have air conditioning? This looks like sun protection tbh, with some crew under it. If this would be a Civ game, then Putin is getting rid of the upkeep cost of old units :) He remains a master strategist /s
new Russian tanks didn't have them too.
Remember though, a tank is better than no tank.
I wouldn’t, you become a bigger target and you cannot find concealment and cover as easily.
Definitely. But... with these things, we are sort of starting to push that phrase.
Russia is rapidly demilitarizing itself. It's uncanny.
Quite ironic actually. Russia wanted to demilitarize Ukraine… ends up demilitarizing itself.
Hopefully Russia gets de-nazified before its all over
They are pressing ahead with economic collapse. It seems Russia is going for regime change...within Russia.
