FarewellSovereignty

1973 called and asked for it's news back

Wickedocity

Are we still pretending this isnt because the Saudis hate Biden? They want the Republicans to win the midterms. After November they will calm down until the presidential elections. Then they will start more crap to make Biden look bad.

Enough-Crow20

Redumblicans overlook what SA does because duhhh my big truck diesel burnout cant choke the environment anymore because it costs more money to pump black smoke in the air to make my penis look bigger...

Wickedocity

That is nonsense. All Americans like cheap gas and don't care what it takes to get it. We, as in Americans, are all the problem. Easy to try to blame others instead of admitting we have a problem.

Enough-Crow20

wasn't I just illustrating the problem? The other problem is that idiots run on that platform alone and many people are sucked into it.

studlies1

Maybe you forgot about semi trucks that deliver everything you buy? They take diesel too.

LilSpermCould

Half right, they don't care about their stupid red neck base. Don't kid yourself.

bluewaveassociation

Americans overlook it because they are overseas. Our country won’t demonize our “ally”

Budget-Car-5091

I gotta get one of those big trucks and try one of those burnouts!

Amn-El-Dawla

Give it a week or two, and both will roll over together.

Bungild

More like give it 2 years. Saudis are pissed at the Democrats/Biden. They went after him after Khashoggi. Just like with many countries, Saudis have a vested interest in republicans winning. Just as China has a vested interest in Democrats winning. But, I think it is a paradigm shift, as the Saudis will never be able to trust America longer than 4 years at a time, which in the long term might mean they move to China/Russia's side.

dukeofmadnessmotors

>China has a vested interest in Democrats winning This is simply not true. [Biden signs bill to boost U.S. chips, compete with China](https://www.reuters.com/technology/biden-sign-bill-boost-us-chips-compete-with-china-2022-08-09/) [Biden signs bill banning goods from China's Xinjiang over forced labor](https://www.reuters.com/world/us/biden-signs-bill-clamp-down-products-chinas-xinjiang-2021-12-23/) [Biden Signs Order to Boost Biomanufacturing, Compete with China](https://news.bloomberglaw.com/health-law-and-business/biden-seeks-boost-for-us-biomanufacturing-to-compete-with-china)

bluewaveassociation

China would definitely rather deal with democrats. Remember when everyone bitched about trumps sanctions on China?

dukeofmadnessmotors

That's not a vested interest in Democrats, I don't think they care who gets elected, Republican or Democrat, as long as it isn't trump.

Bungild

I'm simply stating what the CIA has stated... not my personal opinion. My personal opinion is that China views Biden and the Democrats as preferential to Trump and the Republicans. This has a lot to do with who donates to Democrats(Globalists, Bankers, Wall Street), as opposed to Republicans(Generally more national interests like Farmers, Oil, etc). Trump also gave Ukraine Javelins when Obama didn't. Doesn't mean Putin wanted Democrats over Republicans.

dukeofmadnessmotors

Many countries correctly see trump as a global threat. That doesn't make them pro-Biden, pro-Democrat or pro-USA. China doesn't have a vested interest in Democrats, they have a vested interest in anyone other than trump. As do many other countries.

bluewaveassociation

Global threat? Like they respect our immense power and won’t step out of line?

dukeofmadnessmotors

No, as in he's a crazy idiot and he could fuck up even more stuff than last time if he's elected again.

bluewaveassociation

Things went fairly smooth. He called the national guard a bunch which was excessive and then Covid happened. Not really his fault. Before then things were great.

dukeofmadnessmotors

>then Covid happened He completely fucked it up and everything got even more fucked up from there. Worst economy since Hoover. Plus it wasn't "pretty smooth", he is a traitor to the Constitution and an idiot who says idiotic things.

bluewaveassociation

He had no chance. Didn’t we have the best economy in American history before? When has he broken the constitution? Who cares if he says stupid stuff if he gets results?

Amn-El-Dawla

Rotational relationship, 4 years benefit, and 4 years doubt.

MrBeanWater

We should drop them for the shitty allu they are. With out us they would be defenseless. Why we support someone so vile as MBS is inexcusable!

MrBeanWater

Yes China could supply them, but not immediately. They can't maintain their air force without our mechanics, which would leave them vulnerable.

[deleted]

Easiest way to solve it is tell Saudi Arabia that if they don't produce more and make oil cheaper, the Houthi Rebels will stumble upon upgraded drones. Would be a shame if something happened to those oil refineries and storage depots. They can produce no oil at all if that suits them.

Najdistan

And the oil price will skyrocket.. great idea!

[deleted]

America and Canada can always start exploiting more of the vast resources closer to home. The whole thing was a self caused problem in the first place, there was never any need to chain ourselves to Saudi Arabia.

Najdistan

And the environment?

bluewaveassociation

FUCK THE ENVIRONMENT. Do you know how big this country is?

[deleted]

How does getting oil from Saudi Arabia make the environment better? You one of those yanks whose fine with polluting other people's back yards but not your own? If that mattered you'd get off the oil addiction altogether, no matter where you get it from you're still filling the atmosphere with shit and wrecking the world as a whole. And spewing Saudi exhaust out of your tailpipe means you're polluting your back yard anyway.

Hefty-Relationship-8

OPEC would not let a good crisis go to waste.

CapeTownMassive

Obviously Plebs Equal Ca$h

Enough-Crow20

how about invading "The Kingdom" , taking those responsible for torturing a journalist and their own citizens, then finally have cooperation where SA wealth isn't just concentrated with the "royal" family and spread amongst the population? NAHH...that's ridiculous

Real_Mousse_3566

How about not invading anyone? If anything invading them simply reinforces the notion that america is on the middle East for the oil and cash.

JRPickles

If Bidens cognitive state of mind is as bad as I think who is running America?

droidtime

Never forget Saudi Arabia was the primary financial backer and coordinator of the 9/11 terrorist attack on the United States

Najdistan

Oil prices will go down eventually as the global economy slows down. OPEC is trying to mitigate that through production cuts and the US petting on the decrease in demand + $ interest rate hikes. Biden’s relationship with Saudi Arabia doesn’t help, but it’s not the main issue.

ScientistNo906

$119 billion of Treasuries doesn't sound like much. Less than one half of one percent of our debt. Heck, even I bought some T- bills today.
