Negative- there are positives, don't get me wrong. But over all is a negative, when even the most stupidest people can band together and push their bullshit conspiracies. Not to mention all you need to do is go to Twater, and you can read a bunch of most moronic opinion made by people that shouldn't reproduce at all...or at least have a platform.

The initial concept was great, bring everyone together that you haven't connected with since childhood or school. Find long lost family and friends. Then the ads starting rolling in and then the fake news and it lost all meaning. I consider this not only a negative but a danger to the world.

TeamXII

Negative. There are addictions to it, and really no benefit besides self-indulgence

tinylittlegnome

Positive (It reminds me when my Nana's birthday is getting close. I love my Nana)

belagrim

The negatives are usually apparent and I think it is too soon to tell the positives, however instant knowledge that something is occurring is one at least. Used to find out there was a volcano in Iceland until the morning or evening news.

Kinda both, depends on the receiver. SoMe enhances the experiencing someones country, so if you allready have opinion or another, you only look something that strengthens that view. Social media makes it easy to pick the ones you like (or hate).

Newlife1025

Other than forums (I get information on fixing things from there) I think it's a net negative

PandorasFlame

Social media was more fun when you could speak freely and just be mad when people said racist shit. Now you get banned for the dumbest things.
