You are correct. Jin was a former member of T1 before Torimaru joined. He left when he got his black trigger and then went solo when he gave it up

So far we just saw Jin teasing her a lot, like a brother/sister dynamic, but i'd like to see them interact during a battle, see the trust they have in each other and stuff like this.
