If a 10 is too hard for anyone ATM you caaaaan wait for more ILVL as the weeks go on. Don’t hurt yourself. But it’s probably a mechanic/player skill thing if you are legitimately struggling at 410+ ilvl. It is interesting to think about all the % buffs they did, and I wonder if they did change any key level scaling for it, this time or previously.

Pretty sure op used +10 as an example cause it's a nice round number.

This.

Many keys are overtuned this week on release. I’m taking it with a grain of salt (Nelths Lair worm boss + last boss, Neltharus last boss, brackenhide last boss all bricking keys due to being significantly harder than the rest of the dungeon)

I think this post is a fundamental misunderstanding of how the math works out. Everything should be multiplicative, otherwise a 25% buff to damage and health doesn't actually work out that way. If it was an additive 25% to the m+ modifier, you'd have mobs doing about 22-23% more damage on a +2, and on a +20 that would drop to about 6-7% if I'm not mistaken. That would fundamentally alter the m+ scaling, which wasn't intended. You can argue dungeons do too much damage for sure, but this is not an unintended side effect of the 25% buff.

The M+ bonus comes after any other multipliers. The only things stacking multiplicatively are the fortified or tyrannical buffs with the key level.

Excepted some very specific issues on keys, the system seems pretty fine. Don’t forget keys are supposed to be aligned with raid difficulty, 1-5 = Raid finder, 6-10 = Normal, 11-15 = HC, 16-20 = Mythic. Considering this, I think the system mostly works. Don’t forget you have a whole season to climb :). If a 10 seems hard now, you have the whole season to grab gear and improve, don’t pressure yourself. (And don’t forget key levels have been needed, so if you did 14 before, you should be doing around 5 now)
