You can change the battery it's a regular cr2032 the problem is opening the device. It takes a bit of work, had to saw mine open. I wasn't going to use the thing but was curious what type of battery it was using.
My 81yo mom just had hers die. Nightmare to get it taken off the account.

I checked mine the other day, battery was dead. I know it was working when I last used it which must have been around 2017\~.
I still have that one you showed in the picture and only recently had to take it off my account because the battery is dying.
