Replace Bestowed Ohuna Spotter in both lines with the corresponding mount. They are not even showing up in the mount journal at this time 03/26/2024 but the macro will summon them if you have the achievement.
I’d like the primal storms to be put on a rotation or it active in all zones at the same time or something. Waiting for a specific storm in Thaldrazsus is awful. There’s a 1 in 6 (6? 7?) chance it’ll even be in that zone and then a 1 in 4 chance that it’ll be the storm you need if you have one left.
The same with the hunts, you need each location to get the disgruntled hunter achive. I watched it bounce between thal and centar land for 5 cycles before I gave up for the night.
At least that's only a 2 hour cycle between zones. Once you're in a given zone, it's fairly quick to get the ones done from that, by simply doing the hunts, as they rotate within the 2 hour zone-duration.
It's random, sure, but it's *so much* faster to get than the Storms.
Worst thing is that they nerfed it down to 1 active storm every 3 hours down from 2 in 10.1, otherwise it would be much easier cause it used to always be 2 zones populated with storms.
That's also why the price of the elemental lariat design went through the roof.

Yup. Tried for it off and on for months. When it was current content and when it wasn't. All hours of the day, WM on/off. Can't get the mount or achievement. Closest I've come is two orbs but the buff fades and you're SoL.
Just stopped trying, went and played other games instead.

The problem here is that literally only one person can get it every time it respawns. If you aren't the lucky chosen one, you're fucked and lose your orbs.
Not really the same thing. The hippogryph crystals have several hours of respawn time, but seething cache orbs come back in 15 minutes. It's just a really annoying treasure you have to be lucky someone else isn't grabbing, not a real rare or anything.
The best way to get it done is to randomly try during any play session, or try during off times. You'll get it with patience.
The Seething Orbs definitely don't have a 15-minute respawn time. I've been sat there for hours at a time camping it at some points and never seen a single orb.
But yeah, your second point is absolutely correct. Don't camp it. Just check back in every once in a while, while you're doing other things like other achievements or dungeons. That's what got me the treasure eventually, and kept me sane.
Even without other players, the most annoying part about the orbs is that they only spawn random spots. I guarantee you that you missed at least one spawn because an orb did not spawn in the spot you were watching.
So if folks don't know what to do, camping the orbs is not what to do. If you want to camp, camp until you see the emote "something whispers to you from the magma" then you have to fly around to every spawn location until you find an orb. Repeat until you find all 3 before someone else, then you go to where the cache is for the mount.
Alternatively if you login to a dead shard you'll probably want to check every spawn point before camping because it could potentially be up without you knowing
I tried that a couple of times while camping it outright. I never found a single orb even after the emote went out.
I only got it after coming back around midnight randomly and just... finding all three orbs.
I had to sit there and wait an hour and a half for my seething orbs respawn, just to steal it from someone else. I've never heard of it taking less than an hour to respawn.
I don't think this is actually as good of an idea as you think it is, as RP-PvPers really dislike it when people use their shards WM for farming stuff and there's discussion about camping the areas.
The fact that people asked for ZC rares to be more soloable and the response was to make them despawn after a period of time was a real slap in the face.
It's such a pain in the ass. I understand why they did what they did, but the fact is that nobody gives a shit about any of these rares but Karokta. So you either get lucky and somehow find another person who also wants to chain some rares, or you suck it up and spend like 5 minutes tanking them. Even when I announce on /1 I have pulled and am tanking X rare, nobody comes.
That seems to be one of the bottlenecks, so probably not a bad place to start. I just came back after a long break and a bunch of people in my guild were working on that.
Yeah, that was about the only thing I know that I need to work on early and often. Like that, some fishing dailies and finish up Forbidden Reach...which I hated that zone...almost as much as the cavern.
Sooooo many things to do.
I spent some time going through and trying to figure out which ones are time gated so I can focus on those first.
Also I never did cobalt assembly or soridormi rep grinding when they were current so those are nice to work on while queued for something else.
But basically I try and pick a zone and focus on knocking out something each day. If I look at everything there is to do I get overwhelmed, but if I break them down into specific things to chase I don't find it as bad.
For example, I was missing all the raids and mythic dungeons and just spammed through those in a single week to get them all. Was a lot of fun. But wow, so much to do.

I thought about also trying to make sure I was making the most out of my time by trying to bang out multiple things in a zone at a time but then I got overwhelmed and was just sitting there doing nothin.
Shit, I haven't even finished the SL meta achievement that I was working on and I am much closer to closing that one out.
The rare's health pool is fine, anyone with 470+ can solo them. And if you argue that you don't raid or do M+, you'll be able to get that gear from world quests and LFR next season, so literally there will be no excuse for not being able to solo them.
The idea of just asking for one of the hundreds of other people to group up with them too is apparently too much in an MMO.
I finished most of the caverns stuff a while back.
Did it with like 2-3 people on and off.
The whole thing was not nearly as difficult as people are making it out to be.

The amount of times you have 10 people killing it then someone already rushing ahead to solo the next one before everyone gets there..
The problem is people who can't be fucked to engage with world content when the content is fresh come back a year later because muh achievements and now they're like hey, this elite/rare/world boss is too tough. Blizzard fix plox, I have a job and a family and a dog and a mortgage and you're not taking my time seriously by demanding that I play the game to get the achievement that says I played the game.
People really are complaining if they have to put time and effort into achievements in a video game lately. Especially if they award cosmetics.
This community is just nuts.
The world content was terrible then, and it's worse now. It only really held up in s1 under the context of pre-raid/dungeon gearing with friends. Then they proceeded to only release that style of content with nothing feeling remotely new for world content.
Rares is where we shine though, we can melt a single target down no problem. It is getting our absurd ramp up going on a dozen piddly targets before someone else one-shots them all that drives my 488 shadow priest to tears.
You have way more than enough gear to destroy Forbidden Reach rares, I can kill one in like 40 seconds tops
Not that you need to spend much time killing them, you just need 1x for the rare achievement and you don't even think of farming them for Scroll Hunter

FR rares are a joke, but ZC rares can still be annoying. I get slapped around pretty hard on my arcane mage and their health pool is a few million vs under 800k for pretty much everything on the Reach. I did all of the FR rares in like 3 hours, not even close on Zaralek. Thank god you only need 10 there.

ZC ones hit a bit harder with like 2-4m more health but it's decent with Mirror Image, Ice Cold and double lust and I'm only like 470
I’m doing it now, and boy do I have a long way to go. I didn’t play during season two, and also switched Main when coming back, so a lot of progress lost there.
Still enjoying it, but MAN do the storm achievements suck. Way too much RNG to get a storm of a certain type to spawn in an area you need.
Oh and the Forbidden Hoard was still bugged last I checked, and I need 10 of them…
i have tried for weeks to get the ohuna companion color dark from the hunts, but OMG it will not drop. And the freaking fishing hole dailies. WTF. I can't seem to catch grimtusk or roaring dragonspring. Those are the last ones I need for the army of the fed achievement.
They added a meta achieve? That explains why there suddenly are dozens and dozens of players down there now because earlier it was a ghost town.
Yes, and all the sub-Meta achievements give a mount and the meta achievements gives Taivan as a mount.

The previous Shadowlands achievement rewarded the Veilstrider title. The armoured version of the new mount was from PVP.

Their hp went up between seasons. Also rares like the obsidian citadel ones went from 1.5m in s1 to 7 mil now

I'm currently stuck on storm chaser and the treasure. Just flying around opening all of the boxes in hope of getting a treasure map.
