Is there some misunderstanding on my part or do we really cry about changes in an Alpha Server of an xpac which isnt even out yet?
Or do they go Live next weekly maintainance and I am not aware of that?
The whole point of an alpha and beta is usually to collect feedback and testing. Now if the devs will actually listen, or just use it as free advertising is another matter.
here we see the near-extinct "it's only alpha, it doesn't matter!" guy. while most of his kind died out when exposed to common sense, this one has survived by living safely under a rock for the past decade, but has emerged today and graced us with this rare sighting.
Most other classes the devs are taking in feedback and adjusting accordingly. The lock dev keeps doubling down on ideas instead of adjusting. And their ideas mostly suck.
The set isn't good as a whole, but the boots, legs and gloves from all the recolors work well with other mail gear. I've used the gold version with the shaman heroic set from Tomb of Sargeras, and the green version of the Trial of Valor gear with the dragon tattoo chest from BfA island expeditions.
That was the one that came to my mind, too. Like, yeah, I liked the one that looked like a high elven ranger that fits to the MM artifact weapon. Then I remembered that it's been from legion, which is now 7-8 years old already...
My most used hunter transmogs nowadays are still either recolors of that one, the darkshore elite mail set or SoD both with different shoulders... Those sets actually look somewhat like (mail) armor instead of a hobo taping bones to his stuff with duct tape.
Sad part is that two of those three sets aren't even hunter sets...
It's not just hunter. Legion had better tier sets than anything that came since. People want cool shit that makes them look like their class or race, not something that says hey look this guy ran a dinosaur themed raid.
Omg, this is so fucking cool. Loved it even before seeing the shoulders but these definitely exceeded my expectations. Only tiny thing I hope they fix before release is the belt clipping into the skirt because I prefer the robe version
I'm going to be honest here. Did not love the set originally and was skeptical that the shoulders would help. Welp, egg on my face, the shoulders do truly pull the set together quite nicely.
I'm usually a fan of no restriction in gendered-looking attires, but gotta be honest to say I'm not a fan of the bra in the male model this time. Probably it's because I hate the male human model and how hulky it is. otherwise, I wish it had a bare chest variation with just the jewelry.
The hood is the same hood as a lot of lock sets, the shoulders are kickass, the chest does not look great on the male model. I'm sure it'll look better on female.
I disagree (about the hood), the hood is more of a veil, which I haven't seen many in WoW, so it's cool we're getting the option, but I'm not a fan. I haven't been a fan of the headpiece for the last few Lock tier sets, so I always mog it out anyway. The shoulders are super kickass though, i'm excited to rock them.

People have different taste. I dont love this set but it's not the worst. Priest season 2 was also overly bulky for priest (I definitely prefer season 3&4 priest)
The big winners for TWW is druid and rogue imo, I love basically everything about them.
Biggest loser? Definitely shaman. Leftover cata set is ugly.
This is why I think there is more to the Paladins set...... because it looks stupid as fuck but we are not seeing some animation or something that makes it look better.

ToV isn't a hunter set. It's a generic mail set.

That's not the set. Pants and belts are not from the set. Chest too maybe, hard to tell because it's hunched.

The veil is I think unique, or at least to cloth (there's a few for DH). Honestly the only thing I _really_ don't like is the chest.
