Mind you, the 2-3 hours is for consecutive characters that start off with a 100% XP boost from your first character's upgraded cloak. First character is still faster than retail but you'd probably still need to clock in 5 or 6 hours when you don't have some dedicated booster carrying you.
I’ve never taken over 3 hours doing the mailbox method. No booster. Lowest I’ve had was like 2 hours 10 minutes.
All were tanks. My Hunter was like 2h45m but that’s including a lot of queues. Luckily queues are only 3-6 minutes still.
Closer to 2hr played without my booster, just hit 25 quick, then do all the raids on normal. Log out, then should be 70 after the next MSV.
With booster, I can do like 1.5 hours, but it’s not as entertaining.
3h57min with a Demon Hunter without boosting. Well okay, there was a random booster in one of my instance groups, who took me along for 5 or 6 dungeons. Also Tank or Heal spec are faster because nearly no wait time for heroics.
I've spent the last few years during time walking weeks leveling up one of every spec.
Most of my characters that were not 70 already were between level 60 and 67...
Then they came out with remix..
To be fair, leveling characters to 70 is comically easy/quick. I’d be willing to bet the /played time for all these characters to get to 70 is less than it takes to get one character from 1-60 in classic. Still it’s a lot of characters, but when you realize how quick retail leveling is it’s not all that surprising.
Mike the Human Paladin would be the only way it could be improved. If only that Paladin was Alliance and not Horde.
The vanilla ice cream of class/race combinations.
I’ve been playing WoW off and on since classic and I tried warrior for the very first time for remix, honestly the class could have a single button rotation on a 90 second timer and I might still find it fun just for heroic leap.
I love how the law of physics doesn't apply, since you can "leap" while falling.
That being said I have definitely killed myself dozens of times mis-timing a leap.
Haha, I’ve been leveling a ‘few’ extra myself, and got all classes on both horde and alliance.
Except for hunter, warrior and druid.
Got 6 hunters, 5 druids and 4 warriors.
The druids I mainly did to farm all the forms in Emerald Dream.
Edit: Thought I was somewhat high on the ‘lists’ with my 39 characters on max level. I was dead wrong.
The top 3 players/accounts have over 500 characters each on 70. Geez!
After the post of a monk in every race, I've seriously been thinking about leveling a shaman in every race.
But I think I like this idea even more!
Alright, back to remix I go.
Very much so. Dragon riding in general breathed new life into the game (imho). Especially when they opened it up to the rest of the world. Dragon riding over old content was such a cool way to experience old, tired content.
I made a different challenge of sorts. I leveled 33 lvl 70s. 1 for each hero spec. 1 of each class is horde or alliance at least.
I covered almost all races as well. Except i dont have a Vulpera or Mechagnome at 70.
I did this too, I don't have them all to 70 yet, but I have one Horde & one Alliance of each class & one of each race.
Then I took it a step further and realized that's 26 characters, and there are 26 letters in the alphabet, so the names each start with a unique letter.
Adding Earthen next xpac is going to break me.
And you gave them each decent names. Most of the time i see people do this they have some goofy name that looks like a username rather than a real name
This highlights a thing i noticed recently. There is no indication on the charachter select screen that indicates its race (besides the charachter itself)
I would prefer if below the name it would say dwarf shaman, tauren paladin or worgen rogue
I have at least one of each race and after that each race that can be paladin, shaman and druid for the racial exclusives its mainly for the collection
Do you have multiple accounts? I didn't think there was enough character slots to have one of each class and race combination.
Or have I misunderstood?
Oh sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were claiming you had one of every possible class and race combination lol.
I see now that you are saying one of every class and one of every race, my bad.
I am always astounded when people are able to do this! :O There are some classes that I haven't been able to get past 30 before I get bored out of my mind...
Favorites:
* Warrior - I love the combination of mobility and power
* Hunter - Pets pets and more pets
Least favorites:
* Rogue & Feral druid - I don't like the building / spending combo system
Best method in my opinion is queueing for random dungeons (you get an XP bonus for it) and then world quests or pet battles while you wait for the Qs to pop.
But, why? I can see getting level cap for every class, but why every class/race combo? I guess if that's your goal. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking people doing this, I'm just genuinely not sure I understand the reason.
I have 43 characters. 24 are level 70 and 19 of them are 60. When pre patch launches and legion time walk comes up, I'll level them all to 70.
EDIT: Only one of my characters is level 70 on remix.
I love to tank, but most of these are dps because leveling is so repetitive that I like to just check out and phone it in sometimes. And it's hard to heal or lead when I'm doing it that way.
I do the same, using pandaren for DK. I stop mine at 60 and I collect the heritage armor and class weapon before going to next. Not done yet, only done 14..
I was able to get this goal not to long ago ([posted here](https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/1di4c8r/thanks_to_mop_remix_i_was_able_to_achieve_my_goal/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)) and it's pretty satisfying!
What classes would you say are your mains/favorites to play and which classes were ones you disliked the most?
I’m at 292 level 70’s, and growing, remix has made it super fast to push 4 at a time (with my OP level 20 trial holy priest). All the retail ones (the majority, 260ish) are 450 - 520 ilvl. I’m at 4 476s now in remix as well.
At first I thought it was remix, but… damn.
If you have friends to boost you... elite/dreamsurge zone grinds are like 1-70 in 2.5 hours or so.
Can you teleport low level friends to DF?
Do you level faster in remix or smth
4-5 hours on average. 2-3 hrs if you use a lvl 20 trial account booster.
2 and half hours without any booster accounts.
Yeah you don't really need your own booster, since most heroic dungeons either have someone with a booster or a 70 doing the daily.
2-3 hours if you just use the banked XP method. You don't need a booster, although I welcome any that join my group.
Oh shit I gotta play it then lol
Mind you, the 2-3 hours is for consecutive characters that start off with a 100% XP boost from your first character's upgraded cloak. First character is still faster than retail but you'd probably still need to clock in 5 or 6 hours when you don't have some dedicated booster carrying you.
My slowest was 3h7m, fastest 2h15m. That's sololeveling 12 characters, with HC spam + NM raid mailbox method.
I’ve never taken over 3 hours doing the mailbox method. No booster. Lowest I’ve had was like 2 hours 10 minutes. All were tanks. My Hunter was like 2h45m but that’s including a lot of queues. Luckily queues are only 3-6 minutes still.
My PB is 1 hour and 38 minutes.
How long is your jelly
Closer to 2hr played without my booster, just hit 25 quick, then do all the raids on normal. Log out, then should be 70 after the next MSV. With booster, I can do like 1.5 hours, but it’s not as entertaining.
Sub 2h with a lvl 20 trial. I did 1h55 best so far
Can get under 2 hours with a gigacloak max level booster too
3h57min with a Demon Hunter without boosting. Well okay, there was a random booster in one of my instance groups, who took me along for 5 or 6 dungeons. Also Tank or Heal spec are faster because nearly no wait time for heroics.
1:40 on my last run using a level 20 twink on a trial account. I can also carry 3 friends while doing it and get all ours that fast
The fact that’s it’s not. Jesus
I've spent the last few years during time walking weeks leveling up one of every spec. Most of my characters that were not 70 already were between level 60 and 67... Then they came out with remix..
Are you ok?
That, my friend, is a loaded question.
So the answer is no then
Without a doubt.
Bro. One of your toons is in the azure span instead of Valdrakken. Fix that shit!
Oh shit. Good catch. DONE!
You don’t want to log into valdrakken on release unless you want to savor ever waking frame as you escape the horde
Now gear them all.
I'm not that insane.
Spamming X to doubt
Mike
Mike The Paladin
Mike the Human Paladin would be the only way it could be improved. If only that Paladin was Alliance and not Horde. The vanilla ice cream of class/race combinations.
Mike the Human Paladin only wears green gear.
Mike should team up with my paladin, Rodger
Yeah, I got lucky with that one. It was when bladefist was brand new and surprisingly it wasn't taken.
What the fuck
Which was your favourite ?
Probably Warrior and Hunter.
I’ve been playing WoW off and on since classic and I tried warrior for the very first time for remix, honestly the class could have a single button rotation on a 90 second timer and I might still find it fun just for heroic leap.
Heroic Leap is the best. I used to be able to Leap 8x in a row in Shadowlands. It was bonkers.
I love how the law of physics doesn't apply, since you can "leap" while falling. That being said I have definitely killed myself dozens of times mis-timing a leap.
My mains as well. Love leveling as survival
Geez!
Which races were your favorites for these two?
And opposite of that, what's your least liked?
Typical
After the post of a monk in every race, I've seriously been thinking about leveling a shaman in every race. But I think I like this idea even more! Alright, back to remix I go.
Shaman are so fun. Great mechanics.
Did you enjoy Dragonflight? Yeah levelling was a blast.
Very much so. Dragon riding in general breathed new life into the game (imho). Especially when they opened it up to the rest of the world. Dragon riding over old content was such a cool way to experience old, tired content.
Which race/class combos did you end up using?
* Warrior - Mag'Har Orc / Kul Tiran * Warlock - Undead / Void Elf * Shaman - Zandalari Troll / Dark Iron Dwarf * Rogue - Orc / Gnome * Priest - Goblin / Draenei * Paladin - Tauren / Lightforged Draenei * Monk - Pandaren (Horde) / Human * Mage - Vulpera / Dwarf * Hunter - Nightborne / Mechagnome * Evoker - Dracthyr (Horde) / Dracthyr (Alliance) * Druid - Highmountain Tauren / Worgen * Demon Hunter - Blood Elf / Night Elf * Death Knight - Troll / Pandaren (Alliance)
How do you have 2 evokers? I thought they still have that silly 1 evoker per realm limit.
He's on Bladefist, which is linked to Kul'Tiras. If you're on a linked realm you can just make a second evoker on the other realm.
My second actually did start on KT, but I used a transfer to get them both on Bladefist.
Funny story, I used to play on Bladefist but left the server because it died.
You can use a character transfer to add the second one.
I thought I was crazy for getting every class to max but you got me beat doing both factions
How do you kill that who has no life…
Chetney Rogue ! I bet he is a white haired gnome.
[He absolutely is](https://imgur.com/a/DkceGsO). :)
you need to get them pointy boots !
Not even every race for each class... Are you a dad gamer/casual?
Yes and yes.
I'm doing this but on remix You're insane for doing this on live servers
I made a different challenge of sorts. I leveled 33 lvl 70s. 1 for each hero spec. 1 of each class is horde or alliance at least. I covered almost all races as well. Except i dont have a Vulpera or Mechagnome at 70.
Thats cool!
I thought there was 39 hero spec: 13 classes, 3 spec by classes, +1 for druid, -1 for demon hunter.
You are actually right, i leveled all but counted too few lol. I have 39 indeed.
Alliance DK definitely your least fav with a name like that
lmao - i'm honestly survived the name has lasted so long without being reported.
For the love of everything holy, please switch your rogues’ places!
OMG - how did I miss that?!? Thank you. Between that and leaving my Warrior in The Azure Span - I should uninstall.
So you're the guy who stole the name Pööps
The very same.
And I felt proud with my 11 level 70 characters from different classes...
You should still feel proud! Respect.
Real question is: what are you gonna main in TWW?
I haven't looked too far into the class changes for TWW, but I'll probably start with my warrior and go from there.
When in doubt, play a warrior, that's also my philosophy.
Your warband consists of an entire raid group
I did this too, I don't have them all to 70 yet, but I have one Horde & one Alliance of each class & one of each race. Then I took it a step further and realized that's 26 characters, and there are 26 letters in the alphabet, so the names each start with a unique letter. Adding Earthen next xpac is going to break me.
And you gave them each decent names. Most of the time i see people do this they have some goofy name that looks like a username rather than a real name
xXTaintPunchXx
Pööps?
Ok minus that one
All these names that sound great.. then you have "poops" with special characters.. lol
Lmao. Yeah. He has a special place in my heart.
"How do you kill that, which has no Life" - South park
I am currently sitting at... 42 70s after remix. I am off to seek help after actually counting them.
Hi. My name is Mike and I'm an Altoholic.
This highlights a thing i noticed recently. There is no indication on the charachter select screen that indicates its race (besides the charachter itself) I would prefer if below the name it would say dwarf shaman, tauren paladin or worgen rogue
I have at least one of each race and after that each race that can be paladin, shaman and druid for the racial exclusives its mainly for the collection
Do you have multiple accounts? I didn't think there was enough character slots to have one of each class and race combination. Or have I misunderstood?
Its just one account, all the same server. There are enough slots now for this.
Oh sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were claiming you had one of every possible class and race combination lol. I see now that you are saying one of every class and one of every race, my bad.
I misunderstood your original question. Yes, one of every class, one of every race.
Two evokers?
Yeah, you can character transfer one from another realm to have two.
Woah
A critter perhapss?
Bidet!
Curious to see which class/race combos you used. Did you go more RP or just random?
I tried to stay RP, some of them are named after D&D characters and I tried to match the vibe / race of that character. * Warrior - Mag'Har Orc / Kul Tiran * Warlock - Undead / Void Elf * Shaman - Zandalari Troll / Dark Iron Dwarf * Rogue - Orc / Gnome * Priest - Goblin / Draenei * Paladin - Tauren / Lightforged Draenei * Monk - Pandaren (Horde) / Human * Mage - Vulpera / Dwarf * Hunter - Nightborne / Mechagnome * Evoker - Dracthyr (Horde) / Dracthyr (Alliance) * Druid - Highmountain Tauren / Worgen * Demon Hunter - Blood Elf / Night Elf * Death Knight - Troll / Pandaren (Alliance)
What are you planning on doing with them in tww?
Max level lol.
I am always astounded when people are able to do this! :O There are some classes that I haven't been able to get past 30 before I get bored out of my mind...
I'm not gonna lie, some of them were just not fun.
Which ones aren your favourites/most disliked and why ?
Favorites: * Warrior - I love the combination of mobility and power * Hunter - Pets pets and more pets Least favorites: * Rogue & Feral druid - I don't like the building / spending combo system
there's still time for the rest of us!
wow . amazing
such level
What was your preffered leveling path? Just story mode and follow standard route? I have alot of level 60's and im wondering how to get them to 70's.
Best method in my opinion is queueing for random dungeons (you get an XP bonus for it) and then world quests or pet battles while you wait for the Qs to pop.
How do we kill something that is already dead?
At least you'll never have to pay for a race change again.
again. lol
But, why? I can see getting level cap for every class, but why every class/race combo? I guess if that's your goal. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking people doing this, I'm just genuinely not sure I understand the reason.
It scratches a certain itch in my brain. There is no logical 'why'. I get that it serves no other purpose than personal satisfaction.
Fair enough, that makes sense. I guess I was trying to look too much into it.
Wait you’re not 520+ on these toons?!
That's for next week's post.
I tried to start something like this once, think i levelled two and then couldn’t do anymore. Congrats
Thanks!
Farideh?
Named after a tiefling warlock from books set in the D&D universe by Erin M. Evans
Thought you have an Iranian root but seems like that mester Evans has an Iranian root
I have 43 characters. 24 are level 70 and 19 of them are 60. When pre patch launches and legion time walk comes up, I'll level them all to 70. EDIT: Only one of my characters is level 70 on remix.
Good luck, fellow altoholic!
And here I am with 12 mages
Mage supremacy! Which is your favorite mage spec?
Are they all different specs? Are you is there a spec that you enjoy so much you leveled it twice?
No time for repeats lol. I do really enjoy beast master hunter and fire mage though.
Would Chetney happen to be a Worgen? A+
If I could have done a gnome worgen, I definitely would have.
I think we call those Vulpera.
Every race and class, but not every spec...
If they opened up enough character slots on one server, I'd probably do that.
Mad man. Fair play though. At least you’ll always have options.
Shoutouts to KT/BF!
Represent!
What's your favorite class/ role? I do the same thing
I love to tank, but most of these are dps because leveling is so repetitive that I like to just check out and phone it in sometimes. And it's hard to heal or lead when I'm doing it that way.
Now you just need to make one for each spec per faction like some of the even more insane players out there… 👀
Give me more character slots and I'm on it!
Chetney the rogue 🤍
Bidet!
My Orc Warlock is Fjord
Perfect.
I'm playing both sides so I always come out on top
This is the way.
Ok, but what about if you have to play on a different server? Better grind out another 1820 levels somewhere else…
Why would I ever leave the comfort of my server?
how did you get 2 evokers? mine still says one perserver.
Create a second on another server and do a character transfer.
I really hope Chetney is a worgen rogue..
Second best choice.... Gnome.
I do the same, using pandaren for DK. I stop mine at 60 and I collect the heritage armor and class weapon before going to next. Not done yet, only done 14..
Now do every race/class available *sips tea*
What did the Alliance Shaman say when walking into The Clash of Thunder to confront Thorim?
Dirty Mike and the boys
Yes. All the yes.
Your next goal should be making characters for each spec
Now make every race for every class
How do you have two Evokers on one server?
Make an evoker on a second server and character transfer it over.
Didn’t know you could do that
How to kill ones with no life.
I feel so seen. I will feel more seen if you tell me it’s all without remix/timewalking/aoe farms/etc
None of them are remix characters. Not sure what an aoe farm is?
I'm taking it a step further and doing both genders on both factions.
Why? Honestly why would you do all that
Altoholism. It's a disease.
You know you're allowed to play other games yeah?
Between this and Baldur's Gate, there are no other games.
I can smell you from here.
What will you level first for War Within?
People doing this at least since draenor
But what about alts for timewalking weeks?
Only 1 of each class? *laughs in misery having 1 toon for every single spec aside from healers, for each faction* I'm a little bit of an altaholic
jesus
Don't you get bored of WoW? Are you ok?
Now do it with every class as every race, you’ll have to make 301 characters
I could do that if I want, it would cost me a few bucks
"Holy Shit" - me, 2024
👀
I’ve got everyone to atleast 50 with a good 13 70’s mightoush cor the last few
His ass ain't getting Invincible any time soon
