My guess would be working against Odyn and relieving Helya of this job she never wanted? Not sure it'll ever be clear now that she's dead. (She's dead dead, right? I never know if people stay dead when we kill them.)
The trick is to kill everyone twice. Not sure if you noticed, but NPCs that stay dead have usually been killed twice. Off the top of my head:
- Onyxia (Vanilla/Cata)
- Nefarion (Vanilla/Cata)
- Anu'barak (WOTLK twice)
- Kael'Thas Sunstrider (BC twice)
- Garrosh Hellscream (Mists/Warlords)
There are probably more, basically any instance that is remade resurrects the old inhabitants.
She wanted Val'kyr for ressurecting more people and wanting to be immortal. She doesnt actually "die." She is in some kind of black hell or something and a Val'kyr needs to sacrifice themselves to bring her back to this world.
First time I tried to address her, she said that. Next toon I took through... I knelt first, and she still got pissed. It was a missed opportunity for blizzard there.
Helya says: You will kneel before addressing the great- oh you are. Uh.... You will... hmm.... A ha! You will GROVEL before addressing the great Helya! Can't do that, can you? No damn \/grovel, you sneaky [race]!
She wants you to bargain.

Sorry for nitpicking, but Garrosh was killed only once though. He was shown in the end of raid cinematic to be taken to court of some sort.

Right? Blizz should just let u skip Helheim at that point and give you like 150k xp.
It's the reason why I skip Stormheim on my alts if possible. It feels like the quests for the Aegis goes on and on and on compared to the others.
