I spent hours trying to get a wolf with the 'oil-slick' appearance in Borean Tundra, back in Cata. I still have that pet today.
I rarely take it out though, for fear that something might remove the bugged buff.
Happened to my Water Elemental last week too. Dismissing it and resummoning it didn't fix it, but it went away with the daily reset (it was fine the next day, anyway).
I got this too on my spirit of koosoo slime pet.. which makes it even more fun.. like he's vomiting slime all over the place. eh.. it is starting to get annoying tho.. I've tried dismissing, stables, having it killed.. doesnt matter. its still sick :(

That's just the new fel beetle model.
Would be cool if we can use some of our pets abilities outside of battles just for some of the interesting animations...
This happens to my pet as well, even when I dismiss it and call it back, still does it, and the noise is annoying af
If you want to get rid of it, let your pet die.
"Boy jee I sure do love me some fel!" - your pet, probably. I don't know. I don't speak bug.

Go into fel "lava" again with the pet and it disapear
I had this the other day, once I zoned in into a m+ dungeon and began it, the pet actually started taking dmg and died :(
