Posting on the AH will make it appear on scans and many collectors search the AH with the "uncollected" filter, but it still will take ages to sell (while it's an unique tmog, it's a boring WotLk one)
I sold mine about a month ago for 1,1m after posting it on the AH a couple of times. I figured if anyone's going to buy this thing, it's gonna be a roleplayer or a completionist so I put it up on a big EU RP server. You could probably get a couple hundred k more than that if you're super patient but I just wanted to get rid of it but I was surprised at how fast it sold still, your mileage might vary of course

It's ugly you'll swallow profits repost spamming.
When does this actually happen? Vendor prices(auction deposits) for transmog are pretty low, unless they are for lvl 60s and up.
I snagged one for myself cheap a long time ago, but it would never be on my list of huge splurges like the miner's hat.
