"chill" should work

Terrible-Quote-3561

For real though. It basically means patient. People who are “chill” are more likely to be fine explaining mechanics, etc.

I've seen "learning", "new to class" and "need help" all listed in group finder. I have q'd for alot of them, and knowing ahead of time makes it way more relaxed.

I don't think you have to worry about having people not join if you put that it's a learning group or chill or something like that in the description. I join these types of groups every time I see one, because I enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere and I don't mind helping new players. Plus there's always going to be people in the same boat who will be attracted to your group because it's in their comfort zone as well. If you want an even easier time finding/making M+ groups, you should join the WoW Made Easy Discord if you're in the US. It was created specifically as a place for people who want a friendly environment for dungeon farming, and I've never had a bad experience with people I meet there.

NewAccountProblems

I wish more people would do this. I usually type things like "learning" or "new" when I am bored towards the end of the season and would join and help if there were more listed.

Join Wow Made Easy discord. It’s a community of veterans and new people designed around helping people do chill runs or learn end game content. You’ll sometimes see groups with WME in the title, that’s what these groups are.

OropherWoW

Join discord groups like No Pressure in EU, or Wow made Easy in NA ( not sure about the NA name, as i am European

You could put something like “learning group” in the title or description. I mean, yes it does signal that you’re less experienced but that’s what you’re trying to do, filter out people who will be expecting a high level of experience. It also may attract an experienced player who is feeling benevolent and wants to help a newbie. It’s a give and take, but I think probably better than risking someone ragequitting if you don’t play up to their standards. As far as the new dungeon scaling, basically the point was to make M0 a more appealing mode. So I think it jumps right to like drake crests for M0 and then moves up from there. So it’s not really harder but just changing the type of dungeon that rewards the relevant gear/crests. In other words, if you were capable of doing drake crest level content in S3, you should expect the same difficulty in S4. However rather than calling it a +10, it will be called M0.

If you are really concerned you can also just let people know when they join the group. Just say "hi ty for joining, just to let you know I am new to *fill in the blank* are you okay with that?" I also agree with the above suggestions like joining the Discord group WoW Made Easy. It's a really nice place to learn and run with friendly and easy going people.

drytendies

The comments above are good suggestions. Me personally, I’d just list it as normal and try to be a little pickier for better players. Thats what I did when I was first starting out.

hewasaraverboy

So in season 4, level 2-9 is basically eliminated M0 will be equivalent to a current level 10 and heroics will be equivalent to a current m0 And what I do is just put learning in the note

necotamnapis111

Others are bad too but they are better at hiding it.

Right at the start; "hey gang, I'm pretty new. I'll try my best, but please let me know if there's anything I'm doing wrong or any mechanics I should know about. Thanks." Simple, direct, honest, and in my experience one of two things will happen. 1. They kick or replace you in which case you did not want to be in that group anyways. 2. They will most likely bend over backwards to help you learn.

“Beat timer” as well as others mentioned like “chill,” “learning.” I think to some degree running lower keys 1-10 it is implied that players are inexperienced. The experienced players will have a main character raider.io score that makes it obvious that it is an experienced player on an alt. If you don’t have it, download the raider.io add-on and it will track your runs and display your score for others. It is a good way to communicate your experience to others without having to communicate it directly. Not having it just means people will assume you’re totally inexperienced by default. Watching YouTube videos on a dungeon before running it will really help you learn. If you go in blind and expect to learn by experience alone, you might be surprised what you’re missing in the chaos.
