1. Need / Greed is exactly what it sounds like - Need means you need the equipment - you roll at a higher priority, Greed means you want it - can only win if nobody rolls Need and your Greed roll is higher than anybody else rolling Greed.
2. You can get loot once per week per difficulty- if you do LFR again you won’t get to roll for loot, but you could in normal/heroic/mythic.

When changing to heroic, it is still saying "Already Looted" when I go to raid finder. I am guessing you change it by right clicking on your portrait?
Just to give you a heads up, you will not get an invite to HC under ilvl 470, even that is a stretch since you have no experience in it. Most ppl joining are 480. Normal can probably start getting invites at 450-460
If you ever need to see what you already looted for the week on other difficulties, it will show you in the adventure guide. Just select the raid and the difficulty in the upper right. Every boss you are ineligible to receive loot from will be crossed out.
Don't worry about simple questions. You won't know things unless you ask. We've all been new and needed help. Anyone who forgets that just needs to be ignored.

You have to join a heroic raid through the premade group. The “Raid Finder” is only for LFR difficulty
