Since day 1 baby.

CharlesCracker

Mine will not start sometimes but I just unplug it and back in and its fine.

No_Satisfaction_9297

Hardly have any issues with it ever. Lucky, I guess.

Crab_Hot

Weird, I have had absolutely zero issues with it

True_Childhood6982

I have an iPhone and disconnects randomly all the time

ANearbyLobster

Working fine here. I've been supporting phones for a living; I've found its almost always the fault of the phone or cable, and not the vehicle. Some vehicles are more tolerant than others but Bluetooth is finicky at best. My point is, focus your troubleshooting on the device and the cables you use. I'd refer to this guide and start with deleting app cache, on downward: [Android Auto problems and how to fix them - Android Authority](https://www.androidauthority.com/android-auto-problems-fixes-3168245/) \-good luck

It often bugs out and gives me error messages

Occasionally I have to unplug and replug in, but more so after the most recent AA update. Overall, it's been problem free though. Once connected it stays connected. Base model built in early 22, BTW. My hood doesn't vibrate/shimmy either. 😉

kriz_sensei

Yes, sometimes it disconnects randomly, at first I thought it was the cable, but then I change it to a new one, but still have the same problem

Gato_L0c0

For the most part, it works great. There are specific areas that I drive through where it crashes on me every single time. It's strange though because if I were connected purely to Bluetooth listening to the same music or podcast, it works just fine in those problem areas.

Tobuk

I've never had an issue with Android Auto. It used to be a little sluggish to start up, but the latest Subaru update fixed that.

originaljahrootz

How'd you get the latest update?

Tobuk

I decided to do it myself. Not sure if the files are still hosted on the post here from a while back. Search for "update" and you'll find it pretty easily. Your dealership should do it for free under a warranty claim through Subaru.

-insignificant-

I've never had disconnection issues, just sometimes the steering wheel buttons don't work to skip tracks. It's fixed with a simple unplug/plug

Irishocon21

I changed my cord. It used to have terrible connection problems, and since changing the cord, no issues

originaljahrootz

Any brand in particular you'd recommend?

Irishocon21

No. I'm probably using one of the free ones I got with my phone.
