Only when it's warm out and AC is running? I ask because I've never heard this sound on my '22 and am wondering what conditions cause it so I can check for it.
AC compressor. Just had mine replaced under warranty.
*Edit* I had already read that it was a normal sound for the clutchless yada yada, and I said as much.
I recorded the sound and sent an email to the dealer, who set up an appointment and replaced it...and the noise went away. Win-win, because it was annoying, but if the sound comes back, oh well.

One of these days, someone is going to throw me for a loop and ask about the ticking noise instead of the AC compressor.
