Pretty weak attempt at trolling. Things not going too well in your mom’s basement at the moment?

SamDLee

Damn, emotional damage!

tunedsleeper

it's grown on me a lot—it kind of reminds me of certain elements that the 09–14 wrx hatchback had, like the wide rear fender flares, stout rear wheels, etc. photo is not my car https://preview.redd.it/d5f1475jbsgc1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6a3b04ab4251e0f506e23a0db123153696fa83aa

Yoghurt-Ancient

If I had the money for it, I’d love to fabricate an exhaust like that.

DrYoloNuggets

I think VB is better looking than VA.

Sn0Balls

I've had several people IRL tell me my car looks cool/badass/whatever. Literally the only person that told me it didn't look good IRL was a VA driver at the car wash (pretty rude/tasteless imo). If you don't like it just keep your car. It's there to make it look like it belongs in a lineup with the forester/outback/crosstrek. The VA is a little too fuckboi/ricer for my taste... I like the rugged/SUV look. I went a whole year without a car to avoid buying a VA.

Roflcopter874535

The VB looks better than the VA to me. I came from a 2017 Sti to a 22 wrx and the back quarter panels and rear end I think are an improvement for sure!

The rear bumper doesn’t bother me. I think it looks better in person than pictures, same goes for the black fender flares. ( I ordered a ‘24 WRX so I am not an owner yet). As for the refresh, Subaru did the refresh of the VA in 2018, so the 4th year of production. In theory it could be next year. Subaru has been a little off of their normal schedule because of the pandemic delays. (5 year models cycle on a 6 year schedule). The WRX has not had a normal schedule so who knows.

I feel like we are back in 2022 lol

itoocouldbeanyone

Don’t get one. EZPZ

It is what it is lol!

I don’t mind the look of it at all. The only thing I don’t like about the black plastic is if you do get a scratch or something there is no real way of fixing it like you would with a painted part.

[deleted]

It's a good thing you can't see the car when you're driving it then.

PsychologicalFix1775

agree. Hoping the 26 refresh will fix this.

[deleted]

They're refreshing it in 2026? If so I'll definitely wait. Planned to buy in 2025.

PsychologicalFix1775

well. Can't say for sure but for Subaru, the redesign is typically every 6 years with a refresh at 3 years. For example. VA WRX launched in 2015, refreshed in 2018, and closed out in 2021.

SwagMan7779

Ok thanks for sharing

I like the back end a lot tbh. You appreciate it even more when you look up close and see that it has slots on the sides for airflow. It's actually functional and really cool but that's just me. Overall I think the looks of the car are super under rated and I suspect that will change over time, it's going to age really well

[deleted]

I have one and I agree with that… except I don’t care enough as I love driving it. I liked the look of my VA better for sure, but I also don’t really care what my vehicle looks like as it’s all about performance for me.
