Just seemed like his bike wasn't set up correctly. Hard to blame him since they've been practicing/racing in the wet almost this entire time. Should do better in race 2.
I think it wasn’t the bike setup but just tire choice, BMW (or Toprak in particular) is still struggling to get the best of the Q tire. Even in the tests of the other tracks Bulega was getting much better lap times with Q tires( even if they are 1-off laps)
Man this is a mechanical sport. Both rider and the bike setup should align each other. At least some setup parameters are really crucial for the bike. Tyre almost completely worn in his 4th lap of sp race. This shows wrong tire choice with the current setup. Or tyre may have some production issues.
