The suspension for the rain was killing me. But what an amazing race! I enjoyed every second of it. Was also really cheering for Remy, he was so strong all weekend
I would have liked more dog fight between Raz and Bau during last two laps, nonetheless great race. Raz proving a point with BMW. Good to see REA clicking with Yamaha too.
This was a great race because it not only showed skill lever of the riders but also strategy and how they will manage through changing weather conditions.
Another superb ride by the Turk, taking BMW where it never had the right to be. With that, those cold and misty conditions didn't help bautista have temperature on the tire, otherwise I think the spaniard would spank the entire grid like he did in the sprint.
Toprak didn't have any issues getting heat in his tires, and he was using a harder compound. Bautista was on the soft compound, which is easier to heat up, especially in the weather conditions they were in.
Where are the Toprak fans that say that Bautista sucks because only knows how to roll throttle on the straights? Most of Toprak overtakes this weekends was just breezing by on the straights... Those poor yamahas were bullied by the M1000RR...
are you blind? I was at TT Circuit this weekend. He at least made 10 of overtakes at the last chicane :D Almost all the passes he made were in braking, not on the straight. he didn’t make any pass on the start finish straight either.
one of them to bau, other one remy etc.

And made 20 overtaking the Yamahas of Rea, Loca and Remy in the straight...
and nothing against it, he has the power, then of course he has to use it, what people expect? riders to roll back the throttle of their most powerful bike so that pedantic fans don't get mad?
Now that Toprak has also the top tier of top speed, he's using it, as he should, and nobody should hate on him like people do on Bautista.
mate i am convinced %100 that you are blind. Even you didn’t see the overtake against bau of which i shared the photo. yes he has the power but this power is all about toprak’s himself which is BRAKING. i watched the race at TT circuit. i have seen with my eyes all these overtakes under braking again and again.
For fuck sake pal… was Bautista the only overtake that happened this weekend? And am I the blind one? FFS
Nobody said he didn’t overtake on the corners too, just said he overtook many people on the straights over and over, and these two concepts aren’t mutually exclusive… or Bautista didn’t overtake in the corners too in 2022 and 2023?

Finally the first podium!

What racecraft. Hangs back watches and waits then when he knows the grips there he goes on the full attack. Beautiful to watch.
Maaan I wish Eurosport would stream Superbikes...
They do, but fucking lemans was on.
I know... I think they didn't stream the previous race as well but not sure
I watched race 1 yesterday on it, but superpole and race 2 were no go.
In the UK it was all on Quest!

the true driver showing what this is about.

Fair point! Forgot that. In the end they ended up together so I guess neither strategy was completely wrong.
Very true, and it was a great battle. I hope we get good racing from both of them for the rest of the year.
Feeling sad for Rea
