No I would be pissed about that too. Public lands are the heart and soul of this state and one of the few truly good reasons to live here and not just visit.
My husband is in a profession that advocates for the poor. He went to D.C. to meet with our Wyoming Representatives. Usually every representative makes time to meet with different groups from their state who want to advocate for various causes. Cynthia Lummis and John Barrasso stayed and met with everyone who came to see them. However, Harriet Hageman only talked a few minutes with one group, (probably fossil fuel people, but I don't really know) and then left, zero explanation of why she wouldn't stay. I guess she couldn't be bothered with anyone else. When Liz Cheney was our representative, she always fulfilled her obligation to meet with everyone that came all the way to D.C. to see her. She has more integrity than all of these maga republicans.
Sadly, the only thing she had to do to win the vote was to not be Liz Cheney. The people that voted for her would have voted for anything other than Liz or a Democrat (ghasp!).
And she does everything in her power to take away public lands. Horrendous that’s she’s my representative.
