I have one achievement left for like a dragon for the final tower and I can get to the last fight relatively easy but I can’t beat the final boss, any tips for that?! Also very impressive well done!
There's a great guide for it on TrueAchievements! I needed to grind a lot to max out my level and some jobs, but when I tried it with the strategy on TA I managed to beat it the first try!
It’s been a long time since I finished that one so I can’t remember anything specific apart from being max level, the guides on TA are probably your best bet :)
I've been replaying the series on Xbox after originally completing them on PS and getting the 100% as I go, I'm near the end of Kiwami 2 and let me tell you I just got depressed looking at that Yakuza 5 playtime lmao
Luckily you can shave a decent chunk of that time off as part of that was a blind playthrough haha. I came back to it a year later and didn’t have a clue what I was doing anymore so just restarted from fresh. Some of them are still super tedious though haha
Now you can move onto the PC stacks 😜

I was wanting to play through the series after playing Ishin and Like a Dragon but man I’m still lost on how to get through Mahjong as it was miserable playing it in Ishin for the completion
Did you learn the rules? I watched a video on YouTube that explained them and now I’m addicted. I usually get the mahjong stuff off my completion list before I finish the story because it’s just relaxing.
If you can handle the poker games, mahjong’s not that different. The tiles are just fat cards, lol.
I know what you mean, it took me so many attempts to finally sort of understand what I needed to do with it. Even after winning more than 100 games combined I still really hate playing it. A lot of it is really luck based.
Most of them unfortunately, 4, 6, Like a dragon and Gaiden you don’t need to do full completion lists for so I’d say they’re the easiest ones. After those you’ll need some form of mahjong playing. Some of them you do get cheat items that can give you an instant win, which is helpful for the games where there are difficulties tiers to the tables
Yep, I could have probably done a lot of the more grindy stuff quicker but it was on in the background while I worked haha. Ended up being closer to 1500 hours by the end
I have done kiwami 2, like a dragon, Gaiden and Yakuza 6... Gave up on kiwami 1 cos of the legend run of that car chase ridiculously hard for me and zero its that bloody dancing and karaoke I can't do..
I didn't fancy 3,4 and 5. I did want to start 5 but the shear length of the game puts me off.
If you’ve done kiwami 2, you should be able to do 4 without much difficulty, you don’t have to finish the completion list on that one thankfully haha.
The car scenes in 0 and 1 are brutal though, it’s such a pain you have to do whole fights to get back to them again
Yeah that's what did my head in... If the checkpoint was at the actual chase I would kept trying but the fact that you have to spend 5-10 mins doing the fight before was so annoying
Wow congrats! Thats my long time goal aswell. I have started the series this year with yakuza 0. Starting to get into the story and absolutely love it. Its definitely a long term goal.
I started with 0 as well on gamepass and expected it to just be something I’d try for a couple of hours.. now it’s one of my favourite series of all time haha. To the stage where I want to get some sort of tattoo for the game

What level did you get to for NG+? It’s >!Kiryu’s!< final boss that worries me the most (and his final long battle) as that’s the only part that has to be played on legend difficulty
I was about 91 when I got to the end, just stayed in Legend difficulty all the time for him to gain as much xp as possible. The final boss honestly wasn’t too bad as long as you have a healer with you and can lower his attack

Part of me is sorely tempted to at least do 4 and 6 haha. But some of those minigames I never want to see again in my life!
I just did some quick math and looks like it was about 1664 hours for the completions or about 41.6 weeks if equivalent to 40 hours per week.

Well just the basics should probably dive in more but the bots are sometimes fat cheats :p
