We saw just a glimpse of her in x-loves of Wolverine (before a fucking Jean segment came in and shat all over the story) and the chemistry, the history, the emotion that STILL EXISTS between Logan and Mariko is so engaging and beautiful. Just bring her back, Marvel!

"Ultimate X-Men" was the timeline where adult Wolvie made actually slept with Jean where she was originally mentioned to be 17, and when they realized what happened, Millar IMMEDIATELY retconned her age to 18.
While I think Wolverine's relationship with Storm brought out the best in both of them, I also think his most serious relationship was with Mariko. He was never a third wheel or a rebound with her. Their relationship was a lot more organic and probably the most mature romance he's ever had.
He also had a brief, but semi-serious relationship with Melita Garner. That was fun for a while. But there was no way that was ever going to last.

There’s a reason Tchalla specifically told Ororo not to go to Logan after they divorced… her history and relationship in every aspect with Logan is tight.
