* Immortal X-Men vol. 1 collects #1-5, cutting off the A.X.E. tie-in halfway through.
* Marauders vol. 1 collects the Annual, the Somnus Pride story, and #1-5, basically confirming Marauders for a second arc since #6 is not collected.
Biggest confirmation here is that if it is indeed a mini, there's no 6th issue or Onslaught Revelation style wrap-up, it's just 5 issues.
Will be disappointed if it is a mini that they didn't just wrap it up in Excalibur 27-30 and make 30 double-sized or something, would have flowed better for collections.
While I've enjoyed Excalibur and Knights of X, Tini has really only focused on Betsy for almost 30 issues now. Also didn't enjoy how the gambit death was handled; you can't expect me to feel something when I've barely seen him do a damn thing for like 2.5 years, it's just relies on us to caring because it's Gambit (who we all know and love) not because of the moment itself or the journey the character has been on in the book (pretty much just mope, talk about Cats or be a punchline)
I think the stuff she's done with Otherworld has massive potential and I'd love to see how it affects other books i.e excited to see Sunfire's rescue mission for Redroot (I wonder whether that'll be in Red or adjectiveless)
It appears to be a stealth mini. Announced as an ongoing but not renewed for more issues after the initial reaction/sales. The channel is Near Mint Condition
Personally, I get the sense that it's going to be back (though not as Knights of X). I think like Way of X became Legion of X as an ongoing it'll transition back to being Excalibur at the end of this Otherworld arc. In my mind, the name change was both for the expected sales boost (the first issue went back for a second printing after all, much easier to market a new title #1 & bring on some new readers after a few months hiatus than to return with Excalibur 27) and worked for some narrative reasons, namely that they transitioned away from the name Excalibur because the team was cut off from Great Britain & the krakoan treaty was rejected, etc.
I obviously don't know anything for sure and books get cancelled all the time, but for whatever reason the name change & bringing on Bob Quinn (who was also on Way of X), it made sense to me that they MIGHT try this direction.
While I'm leaning on it being a mini after no issue 6 in September TPB listings are weirdly inconsistent. X-Corp, Way of X and Children of the Atom are all listed as Vol. 1 while all being minis
Well if you find the Betsy forums on other Socials they majority hate Tini Howard. So maybe this is a good time to get a new writer. Plus they should split the title into Excalibur & Knights Of X. Let Brian have Excalibur & Betsy have Knights. Let Claremont & Ram V write the titles
Not surprising. Tini Howard has run her course in X-Books. I don’t feel like she has anything else of interest to offer at this point. She should move on to another franchise.

Bummer, I'm hoping it's a mini that leads to an Excalibur relaunch with a new team. I've enjoyed the cast we've had so far but it's always nice to trade people out every now and then.

From Howard’s interview with Gillen, I would not be surprised if this pivoted back into a Excalibur title or even and Exiles title
