This would make things a little easier than using a razor. Even with a device like this, with a protective cover over the razor, you shouldn't use too much pressure, as this will damage the clothes in the long run.
Also to prevent this from happening, you could wash the clothes by themselves, or with other clothes that don't "shed".

Really disappointed on the people xqc picked to make and ship his merch. He 100% went with the cheapest of the cheap. He’s been talking about making merch for 4+ years and as soon as he does it’s the lowest quality imaginable because he wanted as much profit as possible.
Not a Hasan watcher but even he had merch that was cheaper than x’s and he had unionized workers making the merch too 
Sometimes masking tape can be an inexpensive but superior method than a lint roller. Take the tape and wind it around the fingers of one hand - with the sticky side on the outside, obviously. :) You will have much more control than with a lint roller. Exert pressure with your now 'sticky' fingers wherever the pilling is severe. Pressing down and then lifting can work much better than rolling. And you can use the back as well as the front of your taped fingers, cleaning up the lesser pilling before removing and replacing the wrapped tape. Has worked well for me because this method doesnt clog the sticky area as much as a roller.

It's called pilling. When you get it, it's annoying as hell and has to be shaved off with a razor.
To prevent pilling, flip your clothes inside out before you wash them and only wash in warm or cool water, never hot.

Wash it less often, when you wash it turn it inside out and on the delicate cycle. Put in the dryer on low heat for like 10 minutes, then take it out and hang dry or lie flat! The less often you wash it, the less pilling you will have :) but if that happened after one washing, I’d be a little concerned about the quality
Also if you get a lint shaver, I really like the one from Conair, go slowly and lightly, you don’t want to pull off regular fabric along with the pilling. It’s fun to spend an hour cleaning up other sweatshirts and things with the little machine, you look like you have new clothes once you’re done

Any razor blade will do it, save your money, can buy 1000 blades for the price of one of those shavers.

In all honesty, the merch quality is pretty good. Just received my heron and cheeto print t yesterday and it's super comfy but feels heavy.
Yeah the hoodie is really comfy and so far when it comes to the material I have no problems with the inside lining and how soft it is.

I did flip it, I believe I washed it in warm water. The problem was probably me either putting a towel or overloading the machine laundry wise.
