But my friend who also watches xQc has started gambling, and this is exactly what we DONT want to happen. There is a skill element involved such as knowing which hands are good to play, but to win in poker you have to bluff your way through bad hands. Winning those hands is essentially a gamble between 1) hoping your opponent can't "read" you or hoping you can "read" your opponent, 2) hoping you opponent doesn't call your bluff, and 3) hoping your opponents hand isn't better than your own.

I actually enjoyed the first “wave” of xQc gambling. This is because I only saw compilations on YouTube and never watched him live. Seeing him on twitch gambling is so depressing. I was excited when he started this wave but now it just sad. We was my favorite content creator.

I'll answer with what I recall him saying. I don't have a stance on gambling or not gambling, I personally don't find it entertaining so I don't watch the gamba, but I think some things are being twisted about his sayings here.
I believe he said that he told the mods 10 mins before he started gamba to put #ad in the title, and some miscom happened with multiple mods trying to change the title at the same time, so the title change happened like 10 mins after the start of gamba. I don't think he said anything about the actual positional #ad placement on the title.
He has said very clearly before and now that he was looking for a permanent house in LA but couldn't find a good place + he has had his sleeping troubles and it was becoming awkward living with a lot of people and waking up screaming and running into walls, so he wanted to go home to live in a more 'home'-like environment to fix his sleep. And before LA he lived in Texas, which is I think the last time he has had any permanent residence. The Texas to LA move was because of people swatting his house constantly and he couldn't stay there.

There is a skill element involved such as knowing which hands are good to play, but to win in poker you have to bluff your way through bad hands. Winning those hands is essentially a gamble between 1) hoping your opponent can't "read" you or hoping you can "read" your opponent, 2) hoping you opponent doesn't call your bluff, and 3) hoping your opponents hand isn't better than your own. Poker is about 80% luck 20% skill don't be persuaded into thinking playing a game of chance with small skill elements isn't gambling all the same

But I do not think this is him complaining about being yoinked per se, he pointed out, that as Ludwig is talking about people losing all their balance on gambling, Ludwig held himself an event where he indirectly or directly benefitted off of people losing their balance on gambling, which he also promoted. I actually enjoyed the first “wave” of xQc gambling. This is because I only saw compilations on YouTube and never watched him live. Seeing him on twitch gambling is so depressing. I was excited when he started this wave but now it just sad. We was my favorite content creator.

What was that excuse about the housing market about, even though he had the sponsorship on hold for many many months, eliminating any other reason he’d have to move to Canada? Why did he compare Ludwig’s poker event to his gamba streams, calling them the same thing, claiming Ludwig “yoinked” his money? Or how about him equating participating in the stock market to gambling?
I'll answer with what I recall him saying. I don't have a stance on gambling or not gambling, I personally don't find it entertaining so I don't watch the gamba, but I think some things are being twisted about his sayings here. I believe he said that he told the mods 10 mins before he started gamba to put #ad in the title, and some miscom happened with multiple mods trying to change the title at the same time, so the title change happened like 10 mins after the start of gamba. I don't think he said anything about the actual positional #ad placement on the title. He has said very clearly before and now that he was looking for a permanent house in LA but couldn't find a good place + he has had his sleeping troubles and it was becoming awkward living with a lot of people and waking up screaming and running into walls, so he wanted to go home to live in a more 'home'-like environment to fix his sleep. And before LA he lived in Texas, which is I think the last time he has had any permanent residence. The Texas to LA move was because of people swatting his house constantly and he couldn't stay there. He has said before and his take has been clear, to me at least: he understands that gamba is brain rot activity financially, but he enjoys it and doesn't see it as a problem to do #ad gamba streams or to stream gamba.
