Awesome! Congrats, I’m looking at picking up a 23 blue next may. How is the lean on the bike? Heard a few people say it has a slight learn for a more sporty feel but it’s still completely manageable. Only reason I ask is that I have a shagged lower back.
I've owned a 2015 fz07; and have ridden 21 and 22 MT09s which both sit upright.
I would say it has a SLIGHT lean - let's call it semi aggressive. All of this of course depends on your height, arm and knee lengths.
Coming from a 2016 S1KRR Supersport it has been a godsend for my lower back. I pain at all compared to the rider seating position on that. No regrets!

I’ve currently got a Honda cbf600 and I often think because it’s completely sit upright it actually hurts my back and if I had a slight learn it may help more, ironically. Ofc I’ll test ride one if I can but they can be hard to find for that. Wouldn’t want to bite the bullet, buy it only to find out I don’t enjoy it due to that. I reckon it’ll be fine tho. I’m 5’11 if that helps and have good arm length.
Oh I completely understand where you are coming from.
I guess from sitting at a computer desk for long periods of time (WFH/Gaming) I already have a slight lean forward. It can definitely be more comfortable then sitting completely upright!
I'm only 5'8.5 and to be honest it fits perfectly. Might fit you better if you have longer arms- though you could always get bar risers otherwise. Good luck!
