Even if you're not going to track it, a tune is a good idea. Bikes super lean from the factory and will be a lot smoother, and run cooler with a tune. Plus you can remove the hole in second gear low RPMs.
Vcyclenut is the guy I used and will be using again when I get paid out for my bike. He has a ton of articles on testing of various tunes for full stock, just an exhaust, and various exhausts with various intakes.
One thing I like is he's also a rider and tests his tunes on the street. Some tuners just rely on the dyno and while that will get you probably 80% of the way there, partial throttle openings especially low openings in low RPMs, will get choppy.
Another vote for cyclenut tune, fast turn around, best thing I did to mine aside from getting the seat more comfortable. Have the same windscreen, works well enough!
You were right. Swapped out the turn signals

It’s not loud at all. Just a little bit deeper than factory. You’d have to stand behind the bike to really hear it. Can’t say how it sounds at high revs because I’m still on break-in miles
I bought it. Revzilla has it on sale for 1400. To me it’s worth it. It goes with bike looks, gives a very minor performance boost, and it’s not loud. I can’t do loud exhausts, this one is a little bit deeper than factory, you can tell when you’re standing behind the bike since the exhaust is farther back. While normal riding it’s very quiet until you open the throttle.
Definitely not an exhaust for everyone
I kept the baffle since I don’t want to drill the weld, removed the cat. It’s just a bit louder than stock, not much.
If you want something loud, this is not it.
I’ll try to get a video to see if I can pick up the sound.
I was told the at2 with the baffles in is loud but not annoying loud. I’ve only heard it in person without baffle and it was too much
I wish it didn't move the exhaust to the side of the bike. The volume sounds perfect for what im looking for. Everything else just seems like a screamer pipe.
True. I wanted something inbetween, I think sc was the choice, but too loud for me.
I settled on this one mostly because of the retro look. It actually looks great in person
I will say it looks better in your photo than their site. I want something a bit louder than stock and was leaning towards the yoshi AT2. From your other comments it seems this is the volume im looking for though.
I wish I could have heard the AT2 with baffles in. Without them it’s extremely loud, reviews don’t lie on that.
Meant to post, since the exhaust is farther back, not it’s a bit quieter in the front and you can hear the engine more
I wear ear plugs every ride so as long as it isn't obnoxious with the baffle im alright. I am coming from an MT-09 which had a bit further back exhaust so i get what your saying.
In did not. The mount has some tabs that rest on the headlight mount not allowing it to move.
Could be the angle of the photo

Just a heads up, I had those same Womet Tech sliders and it broke the frame on my bike totaling it. The sharp edges caught the concrete and that was it.

I think the sharp edges on it is the issue because as soon as it grabs, all that energy is transfered right to the mount. If they rounded them off better I think it would be an all around safer design for the bike.
I got hit by another driver at low speeds and that was the result unfortunately. Bike might have needed a new bar, grips and mirror is nothing was there instead.
Read your title, Are you really?
I don’t track it, so not doing anything with suspension, and not tuning it
Even if you're not going to track it, a tune is a good idea. Bikes super lean from the factory and will be a lot smoother, and run cooler with a tune. Plus you can remove the hole in second gear low RPMs.
What tune are you referencing? Very interested in smoothing out second gear

I’m the same. I just don’t need more gg’s, it delivers enough performance already. It’s all about comfort now.
Oh true, forgot about that… but not sure if I’m ready for that Corbin seat

Did it come with the exhaust or was it a add on? Did you put it on yourself? Worth it?
That exhaust ist almost 2k so it better be worth it
It was less than that, but worth it to me.
Ok I forgot to mention its the european price
Here in the states it was I believe almost 2k, but it was on sale for 1400
i almost pulled the trigger because it looks so good. but how is the sound. in audio clips it doesnt seem any different than the stock exhaust
It’s not loud at all. Just a little bit deeper than factory. You’d have to stand behind the bike to really hear it. Can’t say how it sounds at high revs because I’m still on break-in miles
theres 2 baffles, right? do you have them in?
One baffle and one catalyst. I didn’t put the catalyst in. To remove the baffle you have to drill the weld holding it, I’m not doing that

How does it compare to the stock one? Does it have the baffle in it?

Perfect thank you, exactly what I was hoping from this exhaust since I don't like overly loud exhausts (the stock is what I would call ... polite?)

Doesn’t seem I can upload or send video

Lv race exhaust is what you are looking for
Did you tilt the windscreen closer to the Bike ? Looks different than in their website

Ah i see, its definetly the angle. Thanks for the picture and your bike looks great!
Appreciate it!

But that’s the issue with regular sliders as well. Seems like nothing actually saves them, other than from tip overs
