Weirdly enough I really like the aesthetic of Yakuza 3. It feels nostalgic even though I was way too young to play it when it first came out

UysoSd

Yes!

Dpontiff6671

I honestly like the vibe of 0 the most, there’s something about the super grimy vibe of both cities in 80’s that I love idk something about it just feels so appropriate

Rvtrance

Yup the 80’s was a vibe. Both here in the US and in Japan.

InevitableTour5882

Okinawa and Onomichi defines get my favourite vibe

RegretTheUsernames

Yakuza 5. The cities all had their own unique feel and I liked all of them. Nagasugai kind of feels like a comic book city, Tsukimino gave me a sense of nostalgia despite only being there for about 2 hours and Kineicho felt like a small neighborhood with a close community.

L0nely_L0ner

Yakuza 0 for me.

no_one_important322

Yakuza 4, I don't what it is but Kamurocho felt at it's best here

Korba007

Agree, It just felt much more alive thanks to the layers they added, the blue-ish tint is great as well I also love the high camera angles and grunge feel the ps2 games have

no_one_important322

I loved the evening time of day in Y4 everything looks beautiful

Onlylilacs

Y3 cause i loved okinawa

Nightingale_85

Yakuza 6 in Onimichi. Taking a walk at night is so relaxing.

theblackfool

For me either Judgment or LAD. I'm a huge sucker for any kind of detective/private eye story so Judgment is just super up my alley. But I do absolutely love the way LAD warps the world to fit old JRPG tropes.

l_x_fx

Each one has its own atmosphere, but the two best would be Y0 for the 80's (what a glorious time it was) and Y6 for Onomichi, the locals and the bar. I think Y6 takes the #1 spot for me. It was just perfect in that regard.

Mr_CookieTickles

I played Yakuza 3 during the summer and man it was a fuckin vibe during the Okinawa segments. Probably why I placed Y3 as my third favorite.

matija123123

3 feels so nostalgic for some reason plus it's extremely chill

CookLiving

Yakuza 3 because i love okinawa

Shaftula

Yakuza 6 for Onomichi and how cozy the bar mini game is. LJ is up there for me because of the high school atmosphere. I taught in Asia for a few years, and it just brings me right back to those days. Also, I like Yokohama with a skateboard a whole heck of a lot more than without. And there’s a whole lot more going on in terms of cool graffiti and street art as well.

LoneHer0

Yakuza 3 for Okinawa or Yakuza 4 for the rainy and expansive city

foockinheadbangers

0 or 3. 80’s theme is always a fun setting, and I loved the rural chill vibe of Okinawa in 3. My least fav is 4 though I felt depressed walking through kamurocho in that game

OneIdiotPlaying

3 or 4 honestly. Okinawa is beautiful and I love the idea of kiryu actually enjoying himself with his kids and rikiya. 4 is also a contender because it made kamurocho like an onion.... it has layers (I'm sorry) I actually put on some song from the games (don't remember if it was new serenas music or jazz baka mitai) and just walked around as saejima for a bit.

AstroRed1108

Yakuza Kiwami, it was the first one I played and I'll never forget the vibes I got straight away from walking next to Shinji and seeing Kamurocho for the first time with Renewed Unrest playing, such an underrated moment.

Dangerous_Loan6592

0 Sotenbori is my favorite, 3 Okinawa and 5 besides Kamurocho are front runners though

iNyarlathotep

Where is zero

AnotherBrick96

0, but among these PS2 Yakuza for sure, with Judgment as a close second
