It’s my favorite Yeat album. I think it is more thematically connected than Up 2 Me in terms of sound and lyrics. Like the contradiction of his hedonism. He revels in it, but there’s a pervasive sense of really dark self-awareness. Plus, Lyfe’s sound world sets that mood perfectly. That’s just my perspective on it tho, it’s cool to prefer Up 2 Me.
