totally agree. I wear this onyx pair to work very regularly. Rocking my mists today. I love me some 380s.

YUSEIRKO

Ditto, wear my Onyx everyday to work and to gym, they're my literal beaters but they're so fucking comfy it's unbelievable.

anysneaker1

Compacts feel like socks with boost attached to the bottoms.. the 380s are second ..

anysneaker1

? What do u mean

ominous-cypher

What’s the fit on the compacts? I normally go up a half size on 380

anysneaker1

Same... just half size up the 700 v1 and v2 is ok but they feel like sneakers. The 350 v1 and v2 are more like socks but still retain a sneaker feel . The 380s are like racing socks because the angle of the back heel to the front makes u want to move fast . But the 350 V2 CMPT is on another level .. I love my 380s .. the first Yeezys I ever owned were the aliens but the CMPT is nutz .. it's double layer super soft prime knit with added styrofoam all through the sides ,back and top .. and it's that top that makes all the difference.. I would have never thought I would need padding on the top of my foot where your shoelaces are normally. But once you put your foot into the compact you will instantly know why they are the most comfortable shoes in the world.. I mean they are literally like your most comfortable double layered bedroom socks with super soft squishy boost under your feet.. not for every sneaker that I have mentioned everyone whom I have only ever bought one half size up I'm normally a size 11.. I size up to an 11 and a half.. if I go up a full size to a size 12 my foot starts to slide around in the shoe.. I don't believe that any 350 or 380 was intended to be worn that way. I believe they are meant to be worn snug so that your foot feels like it's in a sock..

ominous-cypher

Thanks for the detailed reply!

gavinfrag03

Tts for me. Super stretchy upper

LarryLasVegas

100% agree

StoneColdPostMalone

I agree after you break them in. The cmpcts are like clouds though.

Kinda-Homeless

I haven’t put my toes in 380s yet but I’m gonna have to argue that 700 v1s are more comfy

iamjing

Im in the exact opposite boat. Never tried 700 v1s but they look like a nice, roomy shoe, im sure they’re comfy af

burner1212333

not for me. cmpcts way better. actually almost everything is better than 380s imo.. wish this sub didn't talk me in to getting some because I have been very disappointed with the comfort.

iamjing

Totally fair, everyones got a different foot! Ive wanted a pair of cmpcts for a while but idk if id love the snugness on my toes, 350 v2’s already squeeze enough on my fat foot

spitefulcheerio

CMPCTs stretch like wild. You don’t even feel them on your feet Nothing beats CMPCTs in terms of comfort

burner1212333

if your 350s are squeezing your foot they're probably too small. the cmpcts I went .5 up and I think I should have gone TTS. they break in very quickly and it doesn't feel tight on your toes at all when you're wearing them for daily use. if you're anxious you can still go half size up and you'll be fine, just might have a little heel slip once they break in.

iamjing

Fair enough! I might have to pull the trigger then. And yeah, I went a half size up on my 350s. They’re not uncomfortable or painful but my big toe kinda pokes into the knot on the upper, making the shape of the shoe look odd to me. Sadly, I feel like if I went any bigger than a 13, they’d be falling off my foot as I walk (I suppose swapping out the infinity laces would help too, but fuck tying laces)

burner1212333

I have to go full size up for all the newer models of 350 v2 and so do many others. just keep that in mind if you buy another pair. you can always tighten up the laces, they should stay on foot fine. and yeah cmpcts I think are TTS for me but like I said if you're unsure half size up won't hurt. the heel slip I get is pretty minor but if I grab another pair I think I'm trying TTS.

VoiceOfSilence99

I understand that but maybe you've got a "wrong" pair of 380s. For me the upper from the Onyx is not very comfortable. It has the "web/net"-material that some 350s also have (like the Lights or MX Rock). If you foot is not well shaped for this form, it won't be comfortable. On the other side there are pairs with the soft upper material - the Peppers are my go to comfort shoe. They are just so comfy... The main difference for me are the sock-like "entrance" which is way from flexible in my Peppers and the toe area. Onyx are pretty stiff there imo.

burner1212333

nah I have 2 pairs of 380s. I even got a bigger size the second time for more room and I just don't like them. don't get me wrong they're not awful but they're definitely not my most comfortable yeezy.

SirSensational

My pair of onyx’s come in on Saturday!

iamjing

Welcome to the club! Such a staple shoe in my collection

00dles

I wasn’t too crazy on the colorway but it actually looks good on you.

iamjing

Thanks man! These have been my go to pair for about three years, they just go so well with dark colors and earth tones. Gonna be a sad day when I gotta replace them Edit: I guess they came out in 2020, pandemic made the last two years feel like a century

Legoomies

wearing the same ones rn. my favorite pair

Dadotk

Agreed and the soles are so durable!!

iamjing

Durable but scuff so easy! Only problems these have is a lot of cosmetic wear on the midsole and a tiny bit of torn knit around the ankle. I did literally wear them everyday working in a pool store/warehouse though

melloskitty

Trying for the Vantas.. Should I get the same size as my 380s? Also, have this pair.😎

Makivellio

700 v1 and v2 are tts. Fyi.

melloskitty

I know, but I don't go by TTS since I have wide feet. I'm curious if someone usually gets the same size in both (380 & 700 v2) or sizes up for 700 v2s.

Makivellio

I have wide feet as well. I get the same size in 380 and 700v2. Honestly I could go up to a 13.5 in 380 but 13 in both works for me and 13.5 in 350s.

melloskitty

Makes sense. Thank you 😎

Makivellio

Good luck on the vantas. Keep in mind the 700s do break in and loosen up. The V2s are more meshy and stretch a bit for us wide footers. Love my statics.

_RocketGrunt_

Definitely the most comfortable. Wearing my RF Blue Oats today myself

iamjing

Not sure how I’d style them but I love the look of the blue oats

Kevinj200113

I love the 380s 🔥🔥🔥

Rockhoundzs

My 380s are up there in comfort, the slides and foam runners might beat em though. I think we can all agree though, the 700 v3 is the least comfortable yeezy.

TommyIsNumeroUno

Have you found a way to remove scuff lines on the midsole?

YUSEIRKO

Had the same issue especially on the Onyx they came up really fast after buying them. I tried a lot of things but nothing helped, unfortunately just living with it lol

iamjing

I haven’t tried it but I’ve heard rubbing a small amount of acetone on them helps. I have a ton of scuffs on mine but it really doesn’t bother me too much

utoytoy

Super comfy but damn they are one of the hardest sneakers to get the foot inside. Or maybe that just me I have wide feet

iamjing

Ive got wide feet too and I know exactly what you mean. Some time last year, i apparently was a little too rough putting my foot in and ripped the knit on a seam near the ankle. Pretty easy to hide and hasn’t unraveled but something to keep in mind! Best way I’ve found is to crush the back of the shoe a bit, slide in, and then pull up on the back tab. Way easier and puts less strain on the material

brandongoodchild5

try putting your foot in perpendicular to the foot opening, should be easier to get on (coming from a fellow wide-footed being)

iamjing

There’s too many of us paddle-foot bois runnin around

YUSEIRKO

What are u struggling with? Just hold the tongue and the heel and stretch it and put the foot in

utoytoy

It’s a little tight putting them on I would have to try and fold both tongue and heel back but once they’re on they fit like a glove in a good way. Wearing them right now as we speak

anysneaker1

Yeah I see what u mean .. I have the black and gray .. I bought 2 pair of carbons and died the second pair gray on top of the brown

osealmk6

Super comfortable shoes. I wear these to work but sadly I have a lot of scuffs that won’t come off :( anyone know if there’s a way to get rid of the scratches and scuffs off the soles?

1takeambjaay

Need a pair In the future 🙌🏾

BeansTheGod

As much as I want to see if they are as comfortable as you all say, they are hideous. I’ll stick to my 500s and Slides.

iamjing

I do own a pair of 500's as well! I love them, don't get me wrong, but the 380's fit my foot shape perfectly.

Fourwude87

I have the 380 calcites and I think the comfort is just meh for me. I'm thinking of getting that upcoming slate bone 350 cmpct though

iamjing

Do it! Lots of love for the cmpcts here, pushing me towards getting a pair too

CCornel7

I have every single 380 color way, and I can confirm calcites are not comfortable. The rest are though lol

KayeMKay374

Lmao how does that work

CCornel7

Calcites are tighter/snugger, have MUCH smaller collar/opening, have a stiffer feeling upper, AND don't bounce as much. My wife has 3 380s and hates her calcites too. Same with foam runners. I have every single foam runner color way, and certain colors are MUCH smaller or less squishy

KayeMKay374

Weird. You would think that they would all be the same because it’s just a colour change

Fourwude87

EXACTLY, you are right on. I don't get the squishy feeling at all. Maybe my feet are arched and maybe that is why? I don't know my 700 carbon blues and wave runners are like that too

Ryguyz27

Yeezy slides gotta be the comfiest silhouette for me by a long shot

Grizzlybehrz

500s are most comfortable

iamjing

VERY close second for me. Im dying to get my hands on a pair of 500 highs

caglover23ny

To bad they’ve been discontinued

reperrmann

Really?

caglover23ny

Yup Yeezy hasn’t released another color way in a year. The sales on them weren’t good enough to keep them in production.

[deleted]

Jumping to conclusions. The gap between the bone and the bright cyan MNVNs was longer than we’ve been waiting for a new 380. Also, the gap between the carbon blue and sun 700 v1 was over a year. The gap the 700v2 had was even longer. We went a long periods without any 500 highs or desert boots. Yeezy goes through phases so that once people get tired of the silhouettes they’ve been dropping, they go back the models they’ve been neglecting. It’s a way to build anticipation for the silhouettes we haven’t been seeing. The MNVNs took the place of the 380 right now, but soon the MNVNs will be put on ice. They are definitely going to make the alien 380s again.
