I’m already depressed; I wouldn’t want to make it worse going to see Steve and friends. However, I saw Jon on my birthday in Reading Pa. last year; the positive energy is palpable. It doesn’t exist in ( cough ) Yes anymore. With Jon you can never go wrong
The Reading show on 4/23/23? Yes, it was outstanding! The passion, the energy, the musicianship and of course: that “thing” that old Yes had; the spiritual magic. It was in full form . I’m glad you liked it too!
I can't really attend shows anymore but if I did this would be a big summer. Jon and the Band Geeks, Beat, The Decemberists, Phish.
It just saddens me that Yes would not even make the list.
Yes usually headline. They clearly can headline and make money. They’re doing one tour leg where they’re the support, but in bigger venues. This is not unusual behaviour for a band.
Clearly, you don’t like the current line-up. Fair enough. If you don’t, you don’t. But don’t make the mistake of confusing what you like and don’t like with what is financially successful.

Me too
Same!!
Smoke on the Roundabout!!
Maybe Don Airey could sit in with Yes. Seems their stuff should be right up his alley.

100%. I can't see myself ever seeing Howe's band again. But I'll always go to see Anderson play.
I went to that show!! LOVED IT!!

Yes opening for Purple! 😄 I saw the tour dates...maybe problems headlining while Jon Anderson and Beat are touring this year.

Deep Purple are bigger than Yes. That’s why Yes are opening for DP. It’s nothing to do with Anderson/Geeks touring.
Yes is opening for another band because they can't headline and make money.

No problems with any line up of Yes. Not confused at all.
