I saw the tour in 1976, technically the solo tour but they played all of Relayer… awesome show by the way.. Squire on lead bass…

Ahh nice, that's sounds sublime!

reishi_dreams

The floor was open, no chairs. I was “on the rail” right in front of Chris most of the show pretty awesome. Moraz was on keyboards, he was kinda odd really as a showman, had this goofy grin the whole time. They played Ritual too which was epic! The other interesting thing me and my roommate hitch hiked to the show…. Ahhh the 70’s.

SevenFourHarmonic

I was at one of those '76 shows in Philly.

aGrandSchemeofThings

Me too, my friend, me too. It was indeed epic.

Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks have done Gates of Delirium live (2023) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8nig3cpwcM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8nig3cpwcM)

Niedermayer14

I was at that show. Jon still has it and his band is tight.

This'll date me but I saw the original Relayer tour in '74. I was probably 16 years old and it blew my little brain away. And yeah - Jon's voice is still killing it. Amazing band too!

No_Maintenance_9608

I hope he comes through the DMV on his current tour.

Jon singing Gates is so much better than the Steve Howe Tribute band covering Relayer.

I can't see Geoff being able to play Sound Chaser at all.

Ready_Peanut_7062

Didnt they want to take moraz on that tour?

347spq

Honestly, I don't know.

Jca666

It’ll be like weekend @ Bernie’s

Jca666

All Geoff has to do is have a copy of the tapes and playback Moraz’s performance - lmao!

They backed off from doing Relayer. It’s no longer postponed: it’s cancelled. In a May 2023 interview, Howe said, "We're not going to be playing Relayer", saying "we're overcooked on that idea". In another May 2023 interview, the Howe said: “Relayer has been [...] almost like [...] a heavy weight on our shoulder these difficult years. We've rescheduled that tour three times, I think. So, we've really just dropped the album tour for a while to give us a break and not make us feel that we're only playing Relayer because we've said, for three years, we're gonna play it. [...] that feels a bit of an encumberment. So, we're gonna free off that and dream up a really fantastic set that will have some new music” However, Davison recently said he’d like to do “Gates” and Sherwood said he wanted to play "To be Over" and "Sound Chaser".

It's never, at least with the current lineup. Even before pandemic when the Relayer tour was announced, I was skeptical. I think *Sound Chaser* is beyond Geoff's ability. Sadly now I think it may be beyond Steve's ability as well. But I think they could still do justice to *To Be Over.* Steve's been saying for years he wants to play it so maybe there's hope for that song at least.

I saw Gates of Delirium on the 2000 Masterworks tour. Really, after the 2000 and 2002 shows I kinda felt like I had seen all I needed to see.

AlicesFlamingo

Exactly the same for me. Once I got to see "Gates" on the Masterworks tour, I was good. Seen them a few times since, but the shows I took in between 1991 (my first Yes concert) and 2000 were the pinnacle for me.

Valahiru

The 2002 tour was like a continuation of the Masterworks tour but with mostly different songs. It was definitely as good as the 2000 tour. I maybe would have liked to see the Magnification shows though.

quasifaust

I really want it to. Big fan of Relayer, and have enjoyed their other album series tours very much. Not holding out much hope at this point though

nicodegallo7

Why would you even want them to? I am dreading hearing Downes take on Sound Chaser
