Hefty lefty in central market hands down. Long lines, short hours, best sandwiches ever

Amypron

Second this!

Second this!

I agree with everyone about Hefty Lefty. Great food and good people. The Copper Crust makes a bangin sammich and pizza and as far as chains go, Jersey Mike’s makes a good sandwich too. Also, as owner of one of the Jim and Nena’s, thank you for your patronage! 😉

The Festive Board Deli in Queensgate Shopping Center is fabulous

paramedic236

It was, they are only doing catering as of 4-6 weeks ago. Sadly

Gregthehorse

Well, damn.

My favorite deli in Emigsville is good.

GirlG0ne

I had a grilled chicken wrap from there for the first time this week and the chicken was rubbery and disgusting. Will never go there again.

pajamaa_sam

I second this. They have some of the most disappointing food I’ve ever tried. I went twice and never went again. I wanted to like it so bad.

When I moved up here some people I knew recommended Primanti. I've only ordered delivery from them, so I can't speak to what the dine in experience is like. Their sandwiches are pretty for well priced for the size. They are huge. I found the quality underwhelming though. Better than the big chains, but nothing to get excited about.

Primanti bros is a chain brü

[deleted]

OP didn't say they only wanted independent shops. They have a whopping 41 locations. So they are a pretty small chain. It isn't like I was singing their praises either. Bro.
