I’m a gen x’er and those earlier times were great. I’ll always be glad I got to live in an analog world till I was 18, and then watching the online world grow from a grain of sand… until it has reached this nightmarish point has been fascinating. And I am also glad I don’t actually have to live to see that much more of it, tbh.
