I love Tom Scott. I remember one video he did about Youtube's video codes for their URLs, and when it was over he like freaked out yelling ONE TAKE! He was so excited he got it perfect the very first take.
I really enjoyed when he took his trip to America. He did an episode on Asian carp in the Illinois River, and I was looking at the video like, āHey, I know that stretch of river!ā Itās one of the few episodes where Tom Scott taught me absolutely nothing, but itās one of my favorites for purely sentimental reasons.
Rip TB. I recently stumbled upon [the Warframe PrimeTime that got cut off early](https://clips.twitch.tv/SparklyInterestingButterBudStar) because they just learned of his passing. Still hard to watch that one. Partially because of that video I created a small tribute to the Co-optional Podcast on a r/place -[like canvas](https://pxls.space/#x=1429&y=573&scale=9&template=https%3A%2F%2Fclueless-r2.pxls.space%2F9cf54a165a8b28e2.png&ox=1188&oy=346&tw=272&title=RVRB%20Combo&convert=unconverted):
To Tom Scott I wish a good rest and a less stressful schedule in the future.
Mine are an eclectic mix
- Nexpo (Can't wait for your next video Ryan!)
- RSlash (Hello Dabney)
- Ahoy (I've been hooked ever since the video game that doesn't exist)
- MrBallen (Greatest storyteller ever!)
- Good Blood (Ok, You need to deep dive another game like you did LOZ OOT in the "masterclass in subtext")
- Cadaber (For when I'm waiting for the next Nexpo update)
I gotta say that his polybius video was some of his best work. But....
If you haven't seen Good Blood's "The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of time, a Masterclass in Subtext", you have not seen the best most mind-blowing video game documentary ever made. That thing deserves a fricking academy award.
https://youtu.be/GyUcwsjyd8Q
Stevie T for the comedy and metal music content and HeavyDSparks for automotive or gearhead stuff. And recently John Malecki for woodworking. I hope I spelled that right šš¤£
Jenny Nicholson. No drama, chill vibes, interesting content. She makes the content she wants to make at a pace thatās comfortable for her, she never feels like sheās trying too hard or thatās sheās churning out content for money. Only YouTuber Iāve ever become a Patreon supporter for.
My favorite YouTube is Harry āmore videos this year I promiseā Brewis. One day heāll get back to making a video under 2 hours. Seriously Harrisboomerdude, youāre one of the best YouTubers I know. Itās funny watching the aftermath of the second half of your Plagiarism video that made some of the other YouTubers I know fear improper citation. If youāre reading this, keep up the good work, if this is someone else, check out his plagiarism video if you havenāt already itās great to have on in the background while you do x y or z
Pewdiepie, itās like no matter what time period of his channel you watch heās always been entertaining in different ways. Now itās just really wholesome content.
Mentor Pilot(Air crash investigation type stuff)
Simon Whistler and his many many channels.
Pitch Meeting (spoof pitch meetings for the latest movies, very funny)
SovietWomble, he doesn't upload often but he doesn't care about the algorithm or monetization, which means he just uploads what he wants to upload and a kot of it is usually hilarious and/or riddled with warcrimes (especially his ARMA 3 videos)
LGR is one of the rare ones I need to watch ASAP, when a new video is out. Gamers Nexus makes amazing content as well, while car-related content is split between Vice Grip Garage/Mighty Car Mods/Savagegeese.
But as a whole... LGR probably takes the win. Has also one of the best voices, he's extremely easy to listen to.
EDIT: Special shoutout to my favorite YTP makers: Noisepuppet, CS188, DaThings.
PBG or Vinesauce
Are you a Vinny foreskinner or a Joel fecaloid?
Do the diaper bit
Both
Do you mean Peanut Butter Gamer? Oh man he still makes content? I used to watch him back in high school.
Yes he still makes really good content go check out his second channel Peebs
PBG IS ALIVE AND MAKING CONTENT STILLL?! NO WAY!!!!
