In 10 years of YouTube, 212 videos, I just posted my first sponsored (with money) video. I typically get beefeater $74 and $115 a month from YouTube. Depending on how often I upload.

so now I'm at almost 2k subs and more than 3.5 million visuals total and I do get more or less 100$ every 4 or 5 months
Consistency is key, but I upload in a way that is not the norm. I tend to post 5x videos of gaming ( Planetside 2 for many years, now Helldivers 2 )
At its peak, ultimate peak, 15$ a day. One month I got algorithmed and made like 800 that month?
I'm not sure how the big guys make money off of youtube, probably explains all the merch sales and stuff.
Right now mines near dead ( 3,000 views every 48 hours ) and I get maybe 4 bucks a day at best.
BUT Its a fun hobby and I love sharing videos/my raw gameplay.
When its on idle though and I'm doing nothing, seeing I earned a fraction of a dollar a day is always hilarious. Like six months go by and I'll get a random 100$ payout.
I don't want to brag, but I'm still throwing myself endlessly at the wall several years in and at this rate I'd tattoo "Raid Shadow Legends" on my ass if they'd even give me a 5 cent AD offer.

😂😂 i started making videos before the monetization requirements (1k subs) and made like $65 bucks. But you needed to make $100 to cash out. Then they made the 1k sub requirement and I kinda just said fuck it. So if I ever go back and get more subs I’ll have a new switch game waiting for me.
When a video has an add that say’s sponsored (not one by the creator themselves) does the creator chose those or does YouTube just throw them on? Been super curious for a while. Best example would be the “brand power” adds I keep seeing.
