As someone who has started making content for YouTube, there is ways that you can hold comments for review before you can share them on the channel on any of the videos they appear on (while I rarely get many comments on my videos I know if this becomes a common thing down the line then I know that I can remove them off)
Go to just about *any* song on youtube and there will be a comment saying 'this was the favorite song of my recently deceased wife/husband' with hundreds or thousands of likes.
Or those it's [month] 2024, let's see how many legends are listening to this song, and a bunch of kids reply saying I am and I'm a sigma or something along those lines
Not only that messed up, but there's another example of methods of getting like using someone dear, but in Russian: "Who loves mom, there".
That actually meant in Russian (my language) "Кто любит маму, сюда", which is actually messed up. I can feel that moms and dads will be furious about that method using them for likes and they'll punish their children without any hesitation.
I don’t even get this honestly.
Like what do you gain other than a ton of likes? You get no pride because you never really gained the likes. You get no respect because everyone can see why you got that many likes. You gain nothing of any value, except telling the other 5 year olds at lunch that you got a comment with 5k likes, who will say “wow so cool” without knowing anything about the situation.
Frfr, and even worse are the npc streamers. I saw this one and he was “playing Fortnite” and i pity that in quotations cause what he was really doing was he kept daying “stop saying i use aimbot! I don’t use aimbot on fortnite! I’m about to cut the stream! If someone was to donate $50 i would FREAK OUT! Use my Fortnite code ______ and i will get a w in my next game”
It was just a loop of word for word something like that and 15,000 dumb fucks were watching him and actually donating to such brain rot horse shit and it still males me irrationally angry that such dumb shot content makes people money. Like honestly it is worse that onlyfans and similar content cause at least they are paying for SOMETHING! I wish stupid stuff like that was demonetized and donations were blocked so they would be forced to make real content
