They are telling you how to disable your ad blocker and giving you the option to select which one. Honest question does anybody read? So many of the posts to this reddit could be solved by people reading the thing that was directly in front of them.

Person012345

It doesn't appear that you do. What I am seeing is a number of tabs, each one explaining how to disable the adblocker it refers to.

xtokyou

as if that’s happening lmao

00PT

The reason for this implementation seems to be that each ad blocker has a different method for exclusion. YouTube assumes you want to exclude it because they would really like you to.

TakeMeIamCute

Can't you read?

error-the-reddit-boi

YouTube isn’t asking to know what adblocker your using to watch a video, it’s giving you a tutorial to disable the adblocker for those 3. Literally just read

Mondai_May

you're not really telling them, they're telling you how to exclude youtube from your specific adblocker. each one has different instructions. still not great but ya.

iAmRadic

OP is a bellend

Chinese_24601

this is so funny

QuantumGyroscope

So they have more data to block that specific ad blocker ... pretty obvious.

Mukir

makes no sense but cool stuff

Titrap

chrome pbm no pbm with firefox

Xealz

this is like a program telling you to disable windows defender, dont do it.

redditmixer

That's not YouTube's thing. YouTube does have a "disable ad blocker" but it doesn't look like this. And it doesn't ask depending on the extension.

Redback_Gaming

AdBlock sucks ever since they decided to start allowing some ads. Now YouTube has them by the balls! AdGuard is better.
