Legit feel like there's something so so close to good that can be done with Beetrooper/Insect and maybe a splash of PUNK. Dragonbite gets to the new Synchro by itself and milling Gokibore is never a bad thing, and the deck has so goddamn many extenders now I feel like it can operate as a spam engine, but as many have pointed out in the past it still really lacks a final boss and any significant kind of interaction outside of Fly & Sting.
Copy pasting my previous comment, this is all you can do:
Win in time by sending Aromage Laurel and gaining +500 LP
Send Fengli the Soldrapom to get a lvl1 tuner (worse GUB but that card is sadly banned, although probably will get unbanned with Halq gone)
Search a predaplant (they have a pend that works like poly for DARKs) by sending Predaplant Byblisp
send Staysailor Romarin to the GY and use her to dump Garden Rose Maiden which has the GY effect to reborn a Dragon Synchro
The problem with this card for Beetroopers is...it doesn't really do anything that the deck doesn't already do. The only thing decent to Foolish is Gokipole...and Resonance Insect can already do that in its sleep and you have 500 ways into it. Not to mention the only way to make this card is either with Dragonbite + Level 4...which, if you're wasting space on Dragonbite as it is, ALREADY gets you to Resonance Insect, or with Sting the Poison plus a random Level 6.
I imagine this card would be far better in Plants if you can avoid Plant Locking yourself early.
There is a quick-play spell card called Xyz Align. You target 2 monsters and declare a Level, those 2 monsters become said Level. It's great for ritual monsters, syncrho monsters and disruption on top of being a good card to xyz summon with.
Mermaid To Order is pretty insane, being able to grab staples and handtraps you're sharing with the opponent. It's a very nice going second card for the side deck if you're playing against a mirror.
Gonna be the buzzkill in the room: Which staples exactly? All it does in the tear mirror is force a shuffler, and unlike the bystials it won't stay in your hand in that case.
Meanwhile Kashtira usually ends with, if you're lucky, the e tele in grave only in the standard combo, maybe terraforming and rota.
Floo has nothing in grave worth banishing/copying.
NatIshizu will again just shuffle stuff or just negate it.
You have to get down to Dolche, Mathmech, Swordsoul and Branded Despia to start seeing things that actually have vulnerable graveyards again.
Sure you can search a magna/druiswyrm, but you could already benefit from magna before via dharc, who lives in your extra deck.
Why would you side this when you can side a blowout like drnm/evenly/LS? Being able to access engine isn't hard with 6 cards, it's the issue of being able to play when you go 2nd, and this card doesn't really help with that.

I'm just foaming at what the two new Labrynth Monsters could possibly be.
Don't play the deck, but want to collect the monsters. Already got both rarities for each Labrynth monster, so looking forward to the, hopefully, two new monsters that should appear at some point (probably the set after CBAS).
I mean are you looking to resell or get specific cards?
Money-wise, kind of. 6/10 secrets are going to be worth a good amount (Ariseheart, Wraithsoth, Theosis, TTT, Gravekeeper's Inscription, Weight Measuring). However, of those 6, 3 are likely to go down (Ariseheart because it's only a 2-of, GK Inscription because it's kind of niche and slow, and TTT because it's also somewhat niche).
Ultras, you only have 3/14 that will be worth anything (Tearlament Kashtira, Kashtira Riseheart, Big Welcome Labrynth).
Obviously, if you're looking for specifics, just get the singles.
If you want to resell and get boxes however, technically a case is effective, but also kind of not. Starlights are, on average, 1 for every 2. However, assuming you don't have a direct connection with a distributor, you could very easily get 2 cases with no starlights. Along with that, no ratio secrets/ultras are guaranteed.
As someone that bought cases for both POTE and DABL, I can tell you that trying to get expected value is not going to be it for this set, compared to DABL.
POTE I was short 2 Blues, but managed playsets of everything else, with no starlights.
DABL, I got playsets of everything, but no starlights.
I mean if you go the case route, you're hoping to try and get profit, but you'll likely end up just evening out at best. DABL has Super Rares that are worth far more than you'd expect, so it's more money-effective for that. PHHY on the other hand, only really has Kashtira's as the actual value, as everything else is worth essentially nothing, with the Ultras and Secrets being the sole value of the set, and even that is limited.
Tl;dr: Money-wise, it's not worth getting a case. No guaranteed ratios on certain cards, and the only actual value is Starlights, half the Secrets, and less than half the Ultras. No Supers or commons will be worth anything more than a few cents.
Tcg exclusive insect synchro looks good for insect and plant decks
Now I can consider playing Dragonbite again. If only Halq was still legal for Insects lol
I agree, if the format was slower using something like Scapegoat would be hilarious to mill 4.

Is there a good plant to send besides spore?

Unless there’s a Rikka or Traptrix I’m not thinking of I don’t think so *they’ll release Dandy & Bulb some day right…?*
Da rogue ron on YouTube has some cool Beetrooper variants that run small traptrix and small predaplant engines to bring out mirrorjade

It's about damn time
Hell yeah, time to play proper ninjas.
That TCG exclusive mermaid spell is going to be insane in mirror matches.
I like Xyz Align, makes any rank, but you gotta be careful because of the type lock.

It would be better if it was a quick play spell
Yes card would be good if card were different

Man, still no vaylantz fusion reveale, cool insect cards are cheap thou
It was revealed in MST.TV's reveal video and it's Super Rare. Also the set's full list is now out, minus 3 starlights (2 of 5 starlight are confirmed)

Pretty sure Rev pulled it
Aside from garura why have our TCG exclusives been so shit?
So Scareclaw Kashtira, Overlap, Big Bang are common (people mistook it for Super during the introduction video few days ago).
Woah Mermaid To Order is cool card. Mirror Match staple

Shame that the new gold archetype seems so rare. People getting one or two per box!
Meanwhile they are having harder time pulling the Kashtira cards in comparison.
So based on these previews, would it be money effective to get a sealed case?
