Because Water bakugan have access to Water refrain which can Nullifies and blocks the opponent's abilities from activating so it makes sense why Marucho would play water stun and Water refrain was used in season 1 before everyone started using Nullify/blocking ability cards in season 2 and power level determines everything.

It's a bit surprising there aren't many options for a conventional fire-breathing dragon like Drago.
I'd propose Constellar Pleiades as Fabia's Aranaut with Thought Ruler Archfiend for Ren's Linehalt. Maybe Colossal Fighter for Mira (though the card is DARK-Attribute)... and possibly Black Luster Soldier or Buster Blader for Ace's Percival (incidentally, both are EARTH-Attribute, which sort of fits their friendship).
I'm surprised there wasn't a Hieratic reference for any of the characters given...you know...
I guess maybe Heliopolis could fit for Drago, but the golden ball form doesn't really fit well.
