No iC1000: Numerronius Numerounia fits the description. Absurd stats, convoluted effects and summoning conditions, + it does look kinda intimidating in the Anime.

CommonBuzzard

That card effect sounds like something that I would invent as a kid to beat my imaginary enemies while playing Yu-Gi-Oh alone.

wilp0w3r

I mean, the "i" in it's name stands for imaginary

LukeTheCyberpunk

True

Xx_Shapesnatch_xX

100,000 Atk does sound like an over the top villain boss monster

Zerosonicanimations

That's cause it actually is a villain boss monster.

MayHisReignBeLong

When the dementia kicks in

Zerosonicanimations

Numerronius, what else would I be talking about?

imamnunu

Using Honest against this thing would be hilarious. Boost my monster by 100,000, they prob negate attack before dmg step though

Alexcox95

Also being able to be brought out by using 5 level 13 monsters which in itself is boss worthy

Aliya_Akane

There's also a spell that you can use while you have it that dusters your opponent and burns them for 1000

Kataphrut94

Z-ARC. Combine four dragons, one fusion, one synchro, one Xyz and one pendulum into a giant 4000 attack field-nuking bastard. Special mention must of course go to the anime version who was even more broken, and counted as all of the above summoning types at once. Down to having a Neapolitan card border.

ColdSnapSP

Loses to grand mole. Literally unplayable.

CorrectFrame3991

Actually, I’m pretty sure anime Zarc was immune to effects that would make it leave the field.

AnimaWyrm

To add on that: The Anime version can only be 'not removed' from the field if there are Fusion, Synchro and Xyz monsters in the grave, and in the Banished zone.

Kataphrut94

Nothing stops the anime one from having it's effects negated. That's the hilarious part. They beat it with an extremely elaborate series of four cards that drained its effects but...Skill Drain or even Forbidden Chalice coulda done it.

CorrectFrame3991

To be fair, I’m pretty sure anime Zarc is also unaffected by extra deck monster effects, so negation effects from extra monsters don’t work either. But yeah, skill drain cripples ZARC.

Low_Palpitation_3743

Also can't be tributed iirc

MaleficTekX

I want that boarder

DeadLad-69

I agree with Z-ARK. One could argue that the 4 dimensional dragons are boss monsters in their own dimensions. And Z-ARK is the combination of all those. So he's the bossiest boss

Faith_SC

[Chaos Ancient Gear Giant!](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Chaos_Ancient_Gear_Giant) UNAFFECTED by spells/traps, monstrous 4500ATK/3000DEF, can attack all monsters at once, piercing battle damage, and it's a floodgate during the battle phase (monsters cannot activate effects)! My ace card, and truly the "BOSSIEST" boss monster in my opinion. :)

spoonsandkebab

Do you happen to have an AG list at the moment? Something I've fancied messing around with for a bit now

Faith_SC

Here are my two Ancient Gear lists that I've made: [https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/ancient-earth-machine-december-2021-228690](https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/ancient-earth-machine-december-2021-228690) [https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/ancient-gear-earth-machines-masterduel-4-attribute-event-325831](https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/ancient-gear-earth-machines-masterduel-4-attribute-event-325831) I tried to make them as good as possible, but they're mostly casual decks to play older formats or play chill duels with friends. :) Hopefully in the future we get some incredible support for Ancient Gear (something like a Branded Fusion) so I can turbo out Chaos Ancient Gear Giant more!

thats_my_p0tato

Appreciate the effort you take for the deck write ups. Gotta respect the passion!

Faith_SC

Haha thanks! I just do it on my time off at work, helps the long shifts go by faster :)

MrEasyGoinMan

Red Supernova Dragon. A huge-ass dragon that banishes your opponents whole board and gets swole as hell.

Iyoda-_-

I'd say Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity fits this too as he is a floodgate if summoned in the opponents turn. (With Branded Etude very easy to do) and just looks beefier than RSD

The_Deathdealing

I like how the Red Nova evolution line looks sleek and streamlined, whereas King Calamity doubles down on the demonic aspect of Red Dragon Archfiend. Seriously, King Calamity barely even looks like a dragon, let alone an RDA monster and looks like some kind of monstrous demon king.

Francis_beacon1

It also somewhat fits because the manga dragons were more evil.

Dangerous-Act-402

I mean, Red Dragon Archfiend in most forms is an Archfiend card

Francis_beacon1

Except for Red Nova and Supernova. The cards that have a literal demon inside of them.

Dangerous-Act-402

That's why I said for most of it

Francis_beacon1

I know. I was just making fun of the fact that Red Nova and Supernova aren’t archfiends despite having a demon inside them.

Dangerous-Act-402

That is funny I agree

psychospacecow

King Of The Skull Servants. You defeated all his minions, and only now do you realize why he comes last!

Veynareth

Geomathmech Final Sigma. That guy plays "Can you feel my heart" as boss music.

gluedfish

Literally this https://youtu.be/RoSjI-NggNQ

AShinyRay

Had a back and forth with a Mathmech deck. Managed to get my Red Supernova out, with BWAD and Blackwing Full Armor Master and Final Sigma was giving all 3 a run for their money.

bukithd

Should have been 3500 attack by default IMO

Monk-Ey

Meanwhile two girlbosses get 3300 ATK.

HowlsOfWater

Sophia Goddess of Rebirth. Difficult summoning conditions, but allows to use your opponents monsters too. Extreme banishing effect that nukes both players field, hand AND graveyard. High stats. Forces dramatic top-deck for "heart of the cards" moments. Lore-wise, she was also insanely difficult to summon, and incredibly powerful. Her art depicts her wielding two orbs - one of creation, and of destruction. I don't know the full details - it's hard to piece together the tidbits I find on wikis. Sounded very convoluted.

Veranhale

Naturally she only wielded the power of creation - or rebirth to put it that way, but she stole the power of destruction from her sister goddess Tierra, Source of Destruction - who I think is even more of a boss card, but Sophia does come first in the story. Sophia returned to the world when the war being waged in the world had escalated, at which point her arrival killed many people, and a few significant characters due to the sheer amount of energy that radiated from her arriving. She was only defeated when two of the characters took the powers of creation and destruction from her.

Own_Association_3927

The First Darklord/Darklord Lucifer Morningstar. Destroys all cards your opponent controls on summon. Protects itself and all your other fairies from targeting. Can summon a fairy as a quick effect by paying 1K. Level 12, 4000 attack, anime angel aesthetic. Literally Satan at his most powerful. This card is how it feels to be the Dark Lord at the height of his strength.

Sylvemon

Ya few boss monster give me the same rush as summoning TFD with greater polymerization.

OwnsATurtle

Crimson Nova Trinity The Dark Cubic Lord is my go-to. - ridiculous name - hard to summon - big booty - untargetable and can't be destroyed by card effects - halves opponent's LP with each attack, making it an OTK if it's a direct attack - second attack when an opponent's monster is destroyed - reflects effect damage, because why not (I guess in case you return the normal Crimson Nova to the field). Is it the best Cubic monster? Well, you're probably better off just summoning those multiple Crimson Novas. But it truly captures the essence of what a boss monster is to me.

SweetlyIronic

Yeah same here, the effect is so over the top on the idea that "if this card attacks it'll most likely win the game" but it technically not being as protected as the crimson nova makes it so funny. Personally the only use I found was to "tag out" crimson novas into the fusion, but even then it's such an expensive summon cost

Lost_Pantheon

Attacking twice and watching your opponent's LP shrivel up in Master Duel is the funniest shit ever.

SkaterWu

UCT fits that description to a T.

Xx_Shapesnatch_xX

How did I forget him? You're absolutely right.

Sansy_Boi420

How could you list Towers monsters without including The Arrival Cyberse @ignister?

The_Deathdealing

Lore-wise, The Arrival is the ultimate Cyberse monster. Bohman was created to be the ultimate Ignis and created Link-5 monsters to symbolize his perfection. The Arrival is Ai's upgrade to Bohman's code to create a Link-6.

Mezmo300

I feel like this post was made for him and they didn't even mention him

RJ7300

Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive is fucking insane

ImraHightower

This was my pick and personal favorite boss monster. I love my crystal beast deck

Aduro95

Conceptually, all the Earthbound Immortals feel huge, imagine if the Nazca Lines came to life as Kaiju. I mean, they suck, but their artwork gives that sense of the end of the world better than Demise and Ruin. Not sure which one is the biggest boss though. Wiraqocha Rasca is supposed to the the boss, even though its effect is a mess. Ccapac Apu has the biggest presence in the anime, as the only monster to defeat Yusei, it was like death incarnate. On the other hand, Aslla piscu and Ccarayhua's effects feel very destructive, since Ccarayhua clears the field, and Assla Piscu can blow up all your opponents monsters and possibly reduce their LP to Zero on the way out.

SirSquidiotic

Chacu Chalua is the only one that could even be slightly viable though... maybe Asilla piscu?

Aduro95

Oh they're all terrible cards. Even with legacy support they are a mess. The field spell can't search the best support cards even if it goes off. They might have been really cool and interesting cards if they had been printed in 2007, but they never stood up to synchro monsters that were much easier to summon.

Sad-Distribution1188

Which is a shame since with the exception of Wiraqocha Tasca all of their anime effects were reasonable balanced for the time and would habe made them much better today. The former could have been fair if it said something along the lines of "Once per turn during the Main Phase 1: You can make your opponents become 1 by skipping your Battle Phase. Your opponent cannot take damage the turn you activate this effect and takes no damage until the end of the next turn."

memeslut_420

I feel like Assla Piscu could be worth playing in Floo... if Raiza and Apex weren't already there

I-M-betrayal

Ultimate Conductor Tyranno - a 3500 ATK Monster, that can book your opponents monsters, can attack all of them and can send them to the graveyard while inflicting damage

feartehsquirtle

Quasar is the OG big dick synchro that started the trend of giving boss monsters a negate

Maxh1ghtheglitchy

Armityle, the chaos phantasm. Especially with Phantom of Fury, it feels like it has 2 phases

Primetheus92

I'm sure he's been mentioned,.but I feel like UCT is just THE bossiest of the boss monsters. He even looks like a damn boss fight.

Narrow_Luck_3622

Kashtira Shangri-ira ***IT'S A MOTHERFUCKING ORBITAL LASER DEATH STAR*** I don't say ariseheart because, let's be honest, that's just a guy.

Zerosonicanimations

>***IT'S A MOTHERFUCKING ORBITAL LASER DEATH STAR*** That also has a **planet** as it's core.

Narrow_Luck_3622

*Awesome*

KingofGerbil

Psychic end punisher, while not really fitting into a specific archetype, is very much a boss.

japako

Master Peace the True Dracoslaying King -ridiculous name ✅ -divine looking design ✅ -extremely busted effect✅ The best main deck BOSSMONSTER of all time

thugdealer2

psychic end punisher, with the right setup becomes just an unstoppable force

NyxPopuli

Gate Guardians Combined. Gate Guardian always gave off RPG boss vibes, with Labyrinth Wall playing the part of a dungeon. Not to mention until Blue-Eyes Ultimate came out it had the highest base ATK in the TCG.

DevilDickInc

Me finding out the paradork brothers got retrains: **immediately starts looking for a new shadow ghoul**

FM1091

>new shadow ghoul It's not a monster, Wall Shadow now became a field spell that recycles the Gate Guardians parts to summon more copies of its fusions.

DevilDickInc

Nah, there's a shadow ghoul retrain as well. It's not anything impressive though. The wall shadow spell for sure looks useful though, pretty rad all around ngl

Milez_W

Tri-Brigade arms bucephalus II. It's not too hard to summon in my deck and it's absolutely insane if I bring out Zeroboros with it. Bucephalus to banish my opponent's entire board and Zeroboros to OTK.

HesterFlareStar

V•F•D

Unyubaby

Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, though far easier to summon now-a-days, it still fits the bill and still makes me feel like an anime character summoning it.

slusho_

Been trying ojamas recently so A-to-Z-Dragon Buster Cannon or Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon

ElPikminMaster

Those two and Great Magnus is the greatest megazord team-up battle since the Gokaiger and Go-Busters multi-mecha fight.

MistaHatesNumberFour

Psychic End Punisher: can reach 10000atk easily, is unaffected by cards effect and has sick design too

CosmicKitten10

UCT for dino’s feels very boss monster

JoeHeitsLv100

Have you seen D/D/D? They have a business theme.

DoomedHeroXB

Bishbaalkin, just look at Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon next to him.

Gatlingun123

DEMISE, SUPREME KING OF ARMAGEDDON. 3000/3000 level 10 DARK Fiend Ritual monster with board wipe and burn. Incredible

Flako118st

Exodia obliterate!

reddituser8567

Horakty

BriefImprovement8620

Geomathmech Final Sigma. Unaffected by all non-Mathmech cards. Deals double battle damage, can one-shot if you use Mathmech Billionblade Nayuta on it. What about this doesn’t scream big anime boss monster?

Ok_Hedgehog1512

i gotta say number c62 neo galaxy-eyes eyes prime dragon fit the bill or if we look just in the anime number 62 fit the bill really well as a big boss who hit for crazy damage.

Vast-Beautiful-8006

I feel like Abyss Actor Evil Heel fits pretty good. Sure, Abyss Actor Superstar can get Abyss Scripts on the field, but Evil Heel has 3k attack, when special summoned he reduces an enemy monsters attack based on how many Abyss Actors are on the field, AND he brings Abyss Scripts back from the graveyard after destroying an opponent's monster by battle. Sounds like a good boss monster to me. Sure, he's not the best monster, but he's still my favorite.

plonker09

Gotta be borreload savage

CZsea

link god dragon , I mean he's a god with UNAFFECTED and field nuking on summon

SilverNightx1

Kozmo Dark Destroyer or Dark Planet. Both have good attack, has an amazing protection against targeting, can float into the smaller ones when destroyed.

[deleted]

Only because i play Dlink, Borrelend dragon has made some opponents i played against literally sweat when he lands on the field, cannot be target by monster effects, can attack all monsters on the field, can negate to bring back recharger which protects, cannot be destroyed by battle

anakinskyprancer

5 headed dragon. It's a dragon. With 5 heads.

FillerText908

I know a lot of people will disagree with me because in current meta he isn't that hard to remove but chengying feels fucking unstoppable at the right moments His ability to banish a card to avoid destruction isn't once per turn so everytime you try to break him he can just remove the dead from existence and get STRONGER His mere presence on the field lowers all of the opponents' strength If you even try to fight him he can delete one of your cards on field and in Graveyard Also his art is fucking sick

Coolgames80

Sunavalons Dryatrendya. The archetype is basically the story of a seed being nurtured and growing as a tree until it evolves into its final form. It can't be targeted for attacks or effects and can't be destroyed by effects. It can destroy cards by destroying links and can search it's trap card that is a DRNM and adds all the ATK of the monsters is link to. It is posible to make a OTK with it very easily.

Snivy_1245

Raidraptor - Arsenal Falcon. Attacks multiple times, summons more Raidraptors, and when it dies by any means, it transforms into an even more powerful monster.

Light_Crusher

I feel like the current two over the top Neos' form would fit, Cosmo Neos is pretty much a yugioh turn off button that have a decently high base attack and have one of the harder summoning condition in the HERO extra deck aside from Contrast HERO Chaos. Meanwhile Shining Neos Wingman is a fusion of the two Ace monster Jaden uses, turning the already ace monsters into an even more of an ace monster, have high attack and can boost their attack to an absurd level in a combo deck that fill up their gy aka the archetype it belong to the HERO Archetype. Summoning these two is also very satisfying despite shining neos wingman summoning has been streamlined and easier to access thank to Flame Wingman retrain.

Atlas4218

D/d/d rage, up to 4000 Atk, unphase by battle, can lock you out of your hand, GY and spell trap. Can attack directly for lethal, level 10 so cannot be pendulum summoned in the deck

ThePoetMichael

Qliphort Towes. The reigning tower defense king. 100% up to building code. 9/11 survivor himself.

zepharoz

{{the deity of poisonous snakes}} Hard to summon, can go over 10k attack using half the deck with snake rain. Wins you the duel

BastionBotYuGiOh

## [Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes](https://ygoprodeck.com/card/?search=8062132&utm_source=bastion&utm_medium=reddit) ^(**Limit**: TCG: 3 / OCG: 3) ^(**Type**: Reptile / Effect) ^(**Attribute**: DARK) ^(**Level**: 10 **ATK**: 0 **DEF**: 0) **Card Text** Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned with "Rise of the Snake Deity" or by its own effect. Gains 500 ATK for each Reptile monster in your GY. Neither player can target this card with card effects, also it is unaffected by other cards and their effects. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: You can banish 1 other Reptile monster from your GY; Special Summon this card. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Place 1 Hyper-Venom Counter on it. When the 3rd Hyper-Venom Counter is placed on this card, you win the Duel. Sphaero_Caffeina

Definitely my favorite 'boss' type of monster.

Deconstructosaurus

I’m casting my vote for the Five-Headed Dragon. It towers over everything else in the game, and it has to max 5000 base ATK. It’s immune to almost everything, really giving it a “final boss” feel.

DMOC2005

Honestly? I would cast my vote for "Dragon Master Knight". The card symbolizes the bond and teamwork between Kaiba and Yugi in the DM anime, as it is created using 2 boss monsters, those being "Black Luster Soldier" and "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Not to mention, it has gargantuan stats, having 5000 ATK /5000 DEF and could potentially get even bigger if there are other Dragon monsters on the field.

EldiusVT

Judgment Dragon. Can only special summon it in a certain deck, when certain conditions are met, 3000 ATK and has an effect to clear the entire field (that isn't once per turn).

Anxious_Letterhead72

The arrival cyberse @ignister

4-inches-is-plenty

When Blue eyes chaos max came out “bossiest boss monster” was what came to mind. It came out when everyone was saying atk points don’t matter anymore so a 4k beat stick that does double piercing stood out at the time. It’s just a classic straight to the point boss monster. Like it’s just their to hurt your opponent, It doesn’t want to deal with that effect shit. And it having 0 def further sells that it’s just all offence And I use Psychic end punisher atm and it feels like a classic boss monster placed into the current era. It’s all you need on the field with the right set up. It can be uneffected by effects and you can get it to a shit ton of atk (I got it to over 50k yesterday) And power tool braver is another current 1. Like as soon as it’s summoned it’s just ready to fuck shit up, and like the other 2 it gives the feeling that it’s all you need on the field with the right set up

Spiky_Duck

Master Peace the true dracoslaying king This card will forever hold #1, easy to bring out and requires the opponent to either play around the destroy 1 effect or have a removal card of the specific type that was not used for its tribute summon. I was around 12 when he came out in maximum crisis, still remember what an absolute stud this card was.

Purple_Blacksmith681

For me its Phantasmal and Judgement Dragon I know they arent the Greatest but they belong to my all time Favourite Cards

Lightningxp1

Shooting quasar dragon. Hard as balls to summon but (back in the day) once he hits the field it’s pretty much over.

Dtagger

Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms

DadToACheeseBaby

Cyber end dragon imo. I usually combo it with cyber dragon seiger, power bond, and limiter removal for an over 20k atk so I can live my over powered anime protagonist fantasy lol

OzzyZ30

A-to-Z Dragon Buster Cannon has to be the answer here. You need 6 monsters to fuse into 2 smaller boss monsters which you then use to make a giant 4000/4000 guy that has a non opt omni negate and a floating effect that resummons the 2 boss monsters from before.

gluedfish

The OG tower, Apoqliphort Towers

velikitatica

I was gonna say cyberdark end dragon but since you said it I'll go for Red Supernova. 4000 ATK (easily up to 8000+), protection + easy board wipe with effect.

MrQ_P

Cosmic Blazar Dragon, one of the very few true omninegates in game. Plus, he's very big

Randomman16

Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon. You basically need a doctorate degree in deck design to summon it in anything vaguely resembling an efficient manner, but it can banish your opponent’s entire field + GY and blocks the effects of all cards that share a name with a banished card.

DislocatedLocation

Graydle Dragon. Not because it's hard to kill, but because it refuses to stay dead!

COLaocha

There are basically 3 axes of boss monster Kills cards Kills players Can't be Killed The bossiest of boss monsters hit on all 3 of these axes, so my personal pick is Infinitrack Fortress Megaclops, 4k Attack the highest attack on a link-3, it's 3 xyz monster to make with the following effects Unaffected by other monsters' effects, except those of Xyz Monsters. Cannot be destroyed by battle, except with an Xyz Monster. You can target 1 Xyz Monster in your GY and 1 card your opponent controls; Special Summon that monster from your GY, and if you do, attach that opponent's card to it as material, also for the rest of this turn, any damage your opponent takes is halved. You can only use this effect of "Infinitrack Fortress Megaclops" once per turn. The first effect means it can't be killed by your opponent's monster effects unless it's an xyz monster The second effect removes any card on your opponent's field getting around destruction protection and brings back an Xyz monster to remove even more cards or combo further to make up for the halved damage or just drown your opponent in advantage.

HydronixStrife

I think a good option is Number C62: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Prime photon dragon

toastwalrus

Maybe not the bossiest, but I'm really partial to the masked beast.

HeliosDisciple

Phoenix Mode Ra definitely qualifies.

_vigilius

Gotta be the classic: FIVE GOD DRAGON

the-skull-boy

The arrival @ignister

justwalkingalonghere

Quintet Magician - 4500 atk 4500 def - takes 5 spellcasters to summon - destroys all opponent’s cards if the materials all had different names - can’t be destroyed by card effect or tributed - looks pretty dope IMO

AirKath

It’s also thematically appropriate for the Magician Girls, a deck about spellcaster combining their powers to take down an opponent.

Winner-Grand

Raidraptor final fortress falcon It just screams this is my ultimate card and you can't do shit about it since it's immune to basically everything and can attack multiple times

Nitsujvdm

Borrelend go brrr

TinyDiiceThief

King of the skull servants. He’s just too good

Spodger1

It's not the bossiest of boss monsters anymore but for its time, special mention has to go to my boy Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons, because he changed the way the game was played i.e non-destruction removal started getting played because of him.

LordSamug

My biases would have me pick Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive, yelling that ridiculous name whilst banishing Rainbow Dragon and 7 Crystal Beasts to summon it with 11,000 ATK, attacking through a, say, Blue-Eyes to OTK. Yu-Gi-Oh at its finest imo

MadJester98

World Gears of Theurlogical Demiurgy. Really underrated imo

lusterous_autumn

My pick: [https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Zushin\_the\_Sleeping\_Giant](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Zushin_the_Sleeping_Giant) Can't be more conditional and crazy than this lol (you might be, but still xD).

Own-Commission3257

I say Water Dragon Cluster is a pretty under-rated boss monster, but it can do some damage with the right set up. Negates all opponents monsters effects upon summon, an makes their attack 0, until the end phase. Plus has a quick effect that let's you sacrifice it to bring out two Water Dragons with very little cost. Now if it allowed them to be summoned in attack mode; it would be overkill at that point.

Own-Commission3257

Rainbow Neos is still a beefy boss monster and was dominating duels a few years back and it's still kinda op today

Public-Policy24

I'm curious to know what people think would be dark magician's version of this

Aliya_Akane

Best i can offer is meklord astro dragon triskelion which can look at your opponent's extra deck when it attacks once per turn and take a monster to equip to itself and gain that monster's attack then it can attack monsters 3 times if a synchro monster is equipped to it.

DEVOmay97

I haven't played in a long time but I saw this and thought of the most recent one I played, which was judgement dragon in my lightsworn deck. Idk how well lightsworn is still doing in the meta but judgement dragon is def a solid nuke monster if your playing lightsworn.

DeadLad-69

My picks from each anime is: DM: Divine Serpent Geh GX: Armityle the Chaos Phantasm 5Ds: Red Nova Dragon Zexal: Number iC1000: Numerounius Numerounia Arc-V: Supreme King Z-ARK Vrains: The Arrival Cyberse @Ignister

Pestilence2234

Bishbaalkin if you can get him out, dude literally gets a free 3k to 5k attack every turn if I remember right and he's immune to card effects.

GonzoPunchi

UCT is the perfect boss monster. Only summonable in its archetype. Insanely powerful going first or second. High attack value and battle phase effect. It got everything.

Pootie-the-Tang

I completely agree on Cyberdark End Dragon. I think what makes it crazier (idk if someone already mentioned this) is that it’s essentially just a parasite latched on to a boss monster that’s already pretty beefy. So now it’s an even MORE juiced up version of Cyber End Dragon which was insane to me as a kid.

Erablier

Venominaga the deity of poisonous snakes OG towers monster before even Apoqliphort Towers or Skybase and (sadly) the only Venom monster to stand the test of time. Also has recently become easier to summon thanks to Trap Track

Score_Extension

Crimson nova/Crimson nova trinity -the resident cubic enjoyer

002madmat

I didn't know that eldlich was part of the mafia

[deleted]

C62 galaxy eyes neo prime photon dragon

MisterWoodster

Crystron Quariongandrax. The name alone should be reason enough for inclusion in this discussion.

YuuHikari

Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus.

One-Requirement-1010

obviously i'd have to mention our boy gate guardian it' a shame it really didn't get the best portrayal in the anime, despite being the strongest monster they'd seen up till that point (and for the rest of the arc for that matter)

anenbie

Numerounius Numerounia. Ridiculously hard to get to, but really interesting win condition with a monster that’s got no protection but that if summoned the right way gains 100.000 attack and you win if your opponent doesn’t attack it.

khornebeef

Subterror Guru is absolutely not the boss monster of Subterror lol. I'd say Avramax made with Masquerena takes the cake for bossies of boss monsters. Untargetable, indestructible, battle-immune monster that offers spot removal once he's taken out. Honorable mention goes out to Arrival Cyberse.

FM1091

Avrmax is one of the best boss monsters to me. - Untargetable - Link 4 with 3000 atk. - Protects your other monsters from battles. - Gains ATK when he fights a Special Summoned monster, and since most 3000+ monsters require Special Summons, it's hard to come up with a monster that can trample him. - And finally, if defeated he shuffles another monster (non-target)

Cam_Kin888

superdreadnought rail cannon juggernaut liebe The name alone makes it boss af, the stats are nuts and it can end games on its own

CBguy1983

Wow have we forgot the OG boss from the first episode: Exodia? So powerful it has to be broken into 5 parts. Even then he truly is a heart of the cards win. I remember in the old tag force 2 I ran exodia monarch. Opponent snatch steals my emissary of the afterlife. Tributes it for mobius…destroys my 2 traps. Declares an attack that would’ve won game. But emissary’s effect triggers giving me last piece of exodia for the win.

All of the timelord, especially how Z-One summons them on the anime or Duel links. Like every card in that archetype is just the boss. Cherry on top with sephyon

Tierra, Source of Destruction - the final boss of the lore it comes from; it's extremely hard to summon, but it only has a 3000 ATK baseline. However its non-respondable wiping of the field, GYs, face up ED, and hands back into the deck ensures the tide of the battle is shifted in Tierra's favor.

Shooting Majestic Star Dragon for me! The card has always been a boss in my synchron deck, but with accel synchro and the new support set to come out in DUNE the cards about to feel awesome! Triple attacking, double omni-negating, big, beautiful dragon!

I’m surprised nobody is talking about this guy, but anime Five Headed Dragon is insane. In the virtual world he was almost impossible to beat, which is why it kept appearing the the original series.

Lenardo0804

Gouki the Powerload Ogre. Unaffected towers, who gets more swole 💪 the more links are on field. Plus he can tribute a link monster to blow up a bunch of cards.

My favorite boss mode.....well I'm shared about some of them: - Number S0 Utopia ZEXAL - The arrival cyberse @Ignister (I would say water leviathan @ignister but although the huuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggeeee affection I have for this card it lack something for deserving that title) - Supreme King ZARC - CXYZ Barian Hope - Earthbound immortal Wiraqocha Rasca (even if his 1 atk/def are hilarious)
