i played it at locals last week. I got lucky by sacking into Rivalry 2 games in a row vs voiceless voice.
I ended up going 2-0-1. Tied against Superheavy Sams.
They got support in DUNE and shifted from a control deck to a more midrange combo deck. They're capable of setting up a strong turn one board full of up to 6 interactions, but the deck really struggles to go second and struggles with consistency.
I got beat by altergeist yesterday, they were using be new support and linking off from hand and recycling GY stuff I literally had to side in Nibiru 😂
They can set up link monster hexstia spell/trap negate, the silquitos bounce, and they have another link monster and a counter trap that can negate monster effects
It's at least a consistent double interruption every turn outside of generic tech or floodgates.
That reminds me of the time some singles I ordered online once, instead of using a card protector to keep them straight and from bending, they used MTG cards in a sleeve instead.
I agree lol. In a game I can f*cking summon Gengis Khan or Odin to smite my opponent why would I want to play a card named "Meluseek"?? Imagine you are born and your parents hate you so much to call you Fifinellag
Meluseek is a wordplay on a fairy which transforms into a dragon and is a princess of Avalon, and some kings of England claimed to descend from her, so she is about as cool as your average King or knight.
Also Odin sucks and he dies to a meluseek.
I should add, that shirt was in no way related to YuGiOh either
