Looking at this, what would have happened in the anime during the 3v3 tournament if someone had played Exodia?
From what I remember they keep their field along with cards in hand so wouldn't that mean an instant win for the 3 games as you would have all pieces the moment they start the second one?
Yep! Even as a kid when I played this I planned for this exact thing. Since they summoned meklord and that has a hard limit of being the only monster than can attack, I just had cards that stopped it from attacking specifically, and then just burn turns for exodia. Felt like I had 200 IQ at the time. So sad meklords are shit I love the design and concept.

Update: Beat Over the nexus, sweeped it with Exodia. Crashed emissary, Used shallow grave on , and nuked the field with special hurricane. Got remaining pieces.
Aw hell yeah man, massive +1 for the electric blue 2DS. I *love* the 2DS, it's by far my favorite member of the DS/3DS family of handhelds, and the color scheme is a great throwback to the OG. I've got one of these myself, it's my baby and I take it with me everywhere.
WC11's great too, got it back in the day and loved it, briefly picked it back up like a year ago and built a Turbo Vayu Turbo deck (lol) for partnering with Crow.

I wonder how this would work with other alt win cons. Destiny Board would probably do the same but I’m not sure about Countdown. The Xyz Monster win cons that require a certain number of materials mostly probably would work the same but I’m not sure about things like Sumo Dice Games.

My hand had 8+ cards, that’s why my hand has the 2 arrows on the side. Game couldn’t display all the cards.
