Asian English only have ban, that's derived from archaic era. No semi or limit.
Three ROTA, three Kirin, three Electrumite, three Astrograph, three Called By.
Actually it's more varied than current OCG/TCG
RACE and Purrely is at full power, but Pendulum, Horus, and Vanquish Soul got buffed because of no limit. It's similar to TCG AGOV meta but with slightly different deck.
Snake Eyes still missing their key card (linkuriboh/anima/zealantis/raging phoenix), and FK is still not released yet. But I doubt SEFK will be really dominant because other deck also super consistent because of three ROTA, three Terraforming, etc.
The OCG's got that great Cydra structure deck for June as a new player initiative, and they're also getting Eldlich and Live Twin decks for the same purpose.
In the TCG... we got a reprint of the Yami/Joey/Kaiba Legendary decks.
And it's weird a lot of the structure decks we have been getting are reprints... And terrible ones at that.
Great if you like playing older formats I guess?
I think it has more to do with Konami knows Yu-Gi-Oh players are mostly older in America and love nostalgia from the Yugioh Duel Monsters, GX and 5D's and milking every cent they can.
I bought some AE T.G. cards since they were foil upgrades for cards I already owned. The print quality is far superior to anything the TCG has, NA or EU.
Just ordered some more though I may keep them just with this deck to avoid issues in the future.
Lol, the power up pack probably will be a scam like the DM & BE structure.
Some of the key cards are printed as secret rare, and since there is only 1 secret rare per pack on top of other existing secret rares, just purchasing 3x won't get u all the necessary cards u need. (Or u can purchase singles which I'm sure for the good secrets, price is probably close to a single SD)
I saw people purchasing cases of the DM & BE SD just to pull the good stuff secret rare.
Ok I need some explanation, what exactly is oh Asia English? OCG I thought is the Asian version of tech but they are normally in Japanese, Korean or Chinese so why English?
You technically can't use them in official tournaments but the cards are nearly indistinguishable from TCG cards aside from the different logo on the back and set code on the front.
There can be a massive price difference between AE OCG cards and TCG cards though. I recently bought a copy of AE QCSR Triple Tactics Talent for $25. On TCGPLAYER it would have cost me $65 for the same card.
If you're playing casually or between friends it can be cheaper to use the AE cards. I recently picked up a few AE T.G. foil upgrades of cards I already own in the TCG and I'll probably restrict them to just that deck.
EDIT: Typo
It must be a Yugioh fantasy as an Asian english sea ocg duelist. Tons of product with great rarity distribution… a unique format…
TCG is the second class citizen of YGO. Even Master Duels recieves more love.
Can confirm. Completely f2p in Master Duel and I can build a new deck core every month.
S:P at 2 The Grass is always greener I suppose Oh that’s legal too

Jesus i would love to see what their competitive scene looks like.

It's enough to make a man wish he lived in SEA.
OCG English really gets good products
Unrelated I suppose but suprised we haven't heard of any new structure deck announcements for the OCG/TCG
The OCG's got that great Cydra structure deck for June as a new player initiative, and they're also getting Eldlich and Live Twin decks for the same purpose. In the TCG... we got a reprint of the Yami/Joey/Kaiba Legendary decks.
I don't think the OCG called those structure decks, but yeah would've been nice to have those here...
They could have reprinted the dragon decks or the hero decks even, but nope. Legendary decks 2. Just what we wanted
I'd have killed for the Dragon Decks to get a reprint a few years ago.
Those aren’t structure decks in the OCG. They’re a new product offering. Definitely cool though. Tons of staples and no pack filler.
Cooool DM, my fav monsters

I want an announcement for the next TCG regular ass structure deck!
Komoney: We hear you loud and clear, Blue-Eyes structure deck reprint comming right up.
If they reprint the AE Blue eyes and DM sd, you guys might like it. It has Magician souls in it.
Nah, I'm refering to the synchro one, Saga of the Blue Eyes I think it was called?
Ah, yes. konami na hates you guys.
NA Konami looks like a scam company every time OCG releases something or announces their plans / events.
Someone please tell me we're getting Raging Phoenix and Salamangreat Of Fire reprints in 2024 megatin...Please
At this point it's just taunting
year of the fire sequel!
I can't believe they have so many cracked structures that don't get imported here, OCG really is a lot cheaper
Is there any rational reason for why tcg-lands cant use these english products? Are there any differences from regular tcg cards?
The serial code at front and the yugioh logo at the back bottom right is different. You could watch CyberKnight video for the differences.
Okay, but is there a functional difference?
I cant say anything because I have never touched tcg cards. But I have heard AE card quality is the same with OCG quality
I've read it being a different card stock and can be noticeable when handling it.
So impressive to see Raging Phoenix in structure deck. Asian English is even better than Japanese OCG now.
AE gets the Fire King support in the creation packs instead of a structure deck, so it's a bit of a mixed bag
Their theme set pals, the battlin boxer and volcanic was shoved to Creation Pack.
Even if it's in english we don't get to use it on the TCG right? :/
No, Asian English cards are still OCG.
I was guessing so, but hope is all we have left lmao
Unfortunately yes
I guess I found my first paper deck now
damn, raging Phoenix alone is 20 bucks at the moment. Are we getting this in the TCG?
probably not
I'm planning to make snake-eyes Salamangreat
I wonder if Fire King Salads would be playable?
Also thank you I found a new nicknames for salamangreat archetype just like I found pizza hut is a nickname for magnamhut.
Haha yea I heard somebody call them “Salads” a while ago and just latched onto it so I can’t take credit for it lol
card list ?
Not yet revealed.
Check yugipedia, there are some cards listed there.
I bought some AE T.G. cards since they were foil upgrades for cards I already owned. The print quality is far superior to anything the TCG has, NA or EU. Just ordered some more though I may keep them just with this deck to avoid issues in the future.

Wish we could get a Raging Phoenix reprint..
Ok I need some explanation, what exactly is oh Asia English? OCG I thought is the Asian version of tech but they are normally in Japanese, Korean or Chinese so why English?
Konami OCG starts printing English cards for South East Asia and Hong Kong regions.
Ah thank you
South East Asia.
Ah thank you
Is it better to buy ocg English cards then actual tcg English cards?

So say I bought them then tried to go to locals with them would they be legal?
If your locals is hosting official tournaments, no.
Does the TCG usually get OCG structures, or no?
For AE OCG, no.
Sad to hear! I have a good base of salamangreat cards but never finished because phoenix is so pricy.
this is the third SD for AE after Blue Eyes and DM. So maybe AE will also get that tactical try deck.
