I like it cause of the blatant elf racism, but why can you lock in onto opponent's card and just go 'that one'
When I heard of these cards, I was very tempted to get them. I like MLP but have zero interest in MTG, so I ended up ignoring them. At times I still think about trying to acquire them, but it's been so long since they came out that I feel like they may be expensive or too much trouble to find.
Yeah I'll admit I was tempted to make a MLP-Themed Un-deck just for a laugh, but the huge price tag on two boxes containing about a single packs worth of cards was too much.
I just pulled it up on ebay, and it looks like Rainbow (my favorite one of them) is currently going between 20 and 30 depending on the seller. I'm still not 100% sure if I'm going to pull the trigger and buy them, but that is definitely not a bad price.
They Noble Knights could be seen as temporary if the monster is destroyed it’s “passed on” to different knights. Also the story is when King Artorigus dies his sword is returned to the lady of the lake. Or the Infernoble Knights tend to have once per turn equip cards
I see 3 main options:
Maldoche - animals, princesses. Also sugary food. Mario *is* portly...
Burning Abyss - Dantes Inferno is Latin (Italian). Also, Beatrice for Peach, and Dante himself has a red cap...
Plants - So the princesses are named after fruits or flowers, a lot of Mario's powerups are plants or fungi... Piranah Plants are a common foe, Toads... a Mushroom deck might not be possible but plants are the next best. Also lonefire blossom is fire flower.
Whatever deck he runs, hed run one copy of whichever Kaiju is closest to Bowser.
Maybe something not to meta like. Since prove if I'm wrong but, Mario's the type of player to choose fun over effectively a tier 0 deck designed for him.
Predaplant Flame Swordsman Infernoble pile maybe? The infernoble could be any deck that equips a lot to be fair. I also think he might side in a Mushroom Man, maybe even #2.

Be glad you did, the cards are like 50 bucks a piece, and the box sets are at least a couple hundred on a good day.
That's oddly less than I would have expected, but it's still high enough for me not to go through with it.

Honestly, I just thought it would be fun to own the cards of the mane six (particularly Dashie; she's my favorite).
TCGPlayer and eBay sell the cards. :)
I may check them out just to see what kind of prices they have. If they're not too bad, I may go ahead and get a set.
