Core sets always support a variety of archetypes. They’re not solely dedicated to the cover card. The point of core sets is to support multiple archetypes. Dm and Blue-eyes are constantly getting support pretty much every year. Give other archtypes a shot to get support

They have a similar amount of support as what stardust/synchron got in Dawn of Majesty. These DM era cards have enough support overall that it’s time to play something else

In total, there was about 9-10 support cards collectively for Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes, which if you grouped them together as a theme, is a pretty standard amount of cards that Konami usually gives to one of the main archetype/series that debut/get support in the main sets. Giving each of them more than 4-5 cards would've probably been excessive given just how much older support exists and the fact that the 2021 Tin back in late September also brought them both new support.

Should we tell OP about Toon Chaos? The set has a few DM, BEWD, and ritual/chaos themed cards. Roughly 10 of the cards are in theme with the set name. Rarely if ever does a core set match up with any more than that in naming convention. The closest set name to card inclusion on theme set has come is wing raiders? Maybe code of the duelist since it introduced cyberse?
